You are invited to enjoy our beautiful, privately owned rental cottage, Green Gates, located on the world famous South Coast in sunny Barbados. This three bedroom house is nestled in a quiet, residential area, within walking distance to the amazing Maxwell beach in Christ Church. Crystal blue water, great for swimming, snorkeling, kayaking etc - all within walking distance. Recently refurbished,

the house offers complete privacy and is totally self catering with TV, fridge, stove, microwave oven, washing machine., etc. can sleep up to six persons. lovely lawn area with garden furniture and a hammock. Supermarket, doctor's office, pharmacy, and restaurants etc nearby. Bridgetown - the country's capital - is a car or bus ride away. Fifteen minutes drive from the airport. Green Gates truly offers you that feel of a home away from home! Upon arriving at the property a private porch awaits you, the perfect place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. Inside, the living area features a comfortable sitting area with two queen sleeper sofas that can sleep additional guests. The open plan arrangement features a dining table that seats six, plus 32" flat screen TV. The bedrooms are beautifully appointed and comfortable, featuring a king bed in the master bedroom, two twin beds in the second bedroom and a bunk bed in the third bedroom. The bathroom is efficient but complete, with a shower, sink and small cupboard. The kitchen is great for those spending a little more time with us, as it features a full-sized refrigerator and stove with oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, and complete dishware, cutlery and cooking paraphernalia. The garden area is a place to enjoy the beautiful Caribbean weather of Barbados. There's garden furniture and a hammock, curl up with a good book or enjoy dining in this beautiful outdoor setting. Most outstanding is the location of this dream holiday home -close to everything, but a haven of tranquility. Credit card payments are not accepted. This is in order to keep the rates low and to avoid high bank charges for this small business. A Banker's Draft, International Money Order or Money Transfer for the 50% deposit is required to secure a booking. If you wish to pay via a money transfer please request this at the time of booking. Once we have received your deposit payment we will e-mail you a Booking Confirmation. Your balance - via the payment methods shown above - will be required 8 weeks prior to your arrival at Green Gates. We will e-mail you a receipt as soon as we receive your balance payment and security deposit. If your booking is made less than 8 weeks prior to your arrival date at, the full payment will be required. You are invited to pre-book any ‘optional extras’ – such as a transfer from the airport to Green Gates and a ‘welcome pack’ of groceries. On arrival at Green Gates you will be required to pay a security deposit of US$200 (cash) – and, provided that no losses, damage or breakages have been sustained during the period of your accommodation rental, it will be refunded to you prior to your departure from the apartment. The following cancellation charges apply:- Cancellation more than 8 weeks prior to the arrival date - Loss of deposit. Cancellation less than 8 weeks prior to the arrival date – Loss of 100% of the total cost. As with all holidays, travel insurance is strongly recommended.
