Well it’s been a busy 3 weeks with my family in beautiful Barbados but it’s back to reality now :( here are some of my favourite photos from our recent trip … and yes - that really is the bajan queen Riri at the famous annual kadooment parade 💙 🇧🇧

What a fantastic day we had yesterday on board with Cliff Sharker Turtle and Wreck Tours (and not forgetting Foxy no.1 crew). I’ve been coming to Barbados since 1995 and my children have been coming all their lives so we’ve done many, many turtle tours over the years but we all agree that this one is on another level and totally different to any we’ve done before.

Charles is very knowledgeable about Barbados and marine life and also very respectful of these majestic creatures that actually choose to spend their time with him (and luckily us too!) in order to have an up close experience leading to amazing and unique family photos to treasure forever! Not once did we touch any turtles and kept our arms against us at all times while the turtles just did their thing in “turtle time”. Charles takes all the photos with his super camera and sends them to you after your tour!

He taught us all how to use fins and snorkel masks properly (made such a difference!) He then took my 3 teenage boys back into the water to teach them to free dive which they absolutely loved and got some more fabulous photos while my husband and I watched from the boat.

I would definitely advise booking in advance as he does book up fast but you’ll have a fantastic and memorable time!! Thanks Charles and Foxy for a brilliant time!

A tad late but happy new year everyone! We had an amazing “old years’ night” with dinner by the sea followed by some spectacular fireworks on Holetown beach. Sadly for us we are back home in Blighty … but great news for all of you who are already booked to stay with us this year!

We are pretty much fully booked until 2nd week of May then currently have 2 weeks left in June, July and August but September and October are already full!

We installed this hummingbird feeder when we arrived but nothing doing until tonight! While having sun downers in the pool we captured this little beauty taking a sip 🥰🥰 hoping to get better photos with the proper camera over the next couple of weeks so stay tuned 🥰

One of the many wonderful things I love about Barbados is that you can go to the local beach (this one is a short walk from Palm View) and be the only ones there! No rows and rows of sunbeds as far as the eye can see… just powder soft sand and turquoise waters 💙
