HAPPY NEW YEAR to my friends, fans and followers !

The reason for my prolonged absence...... on December 17th, I suffered a HEART ATTACK and had to be taken to hospital in ambulance..... I spent some time in ICU and then on ward C5 and was discharged on December 23rd.

Over Christmas, I spent most of time half-conscious and lying in bed ..... as I got tired very, very easily and could only be up and about the house for a few hours a day.

Over the last 3 days I have been regaining my strength ..... staying up longer and walking about more.

This morning I went walking down my gap and walked about 0.25 miles at about 1.6 mph without my heart rate ever exceeding 80 bpm ...... so I know I am really improving ....... and it is entirely because of the Grace of God and the earnest prayers of the saints on my behalf.

I faced quite a few spiritual battles when I was very weak physically and I promised Jesus that if I was allowed to recover I would focus more on my RELATIONSHIP with Him than on "mechanical service" which is the great failure of ORGANIZED RELIGION.

Yes, dear friends, even I (inspite of all my Youtube videos) was guilty of relegating my "time with God" and my "spiritual service" to be a "part of my life" while I went about doing what I wanted to do the rest of the time.

I see no such thing in the New Testament churches ....... rather I see people wholly dedicated to God and with a single focus (what modern-day "christians" would regard as fanaticism)

"Organized Religion" has now strayed so far from true "Christianity" that many, many people are going to be shocked out of their wits to discover that their final destination is actually HELL itself ...... and that they have NEVER actually known the One True God and His Son, Jesus Christ.

Anyway I will be back to preaching and playing music very soon ..... and maybe, back to HIKING again eventually, if God makes that possible.

Why I am Resigning from the National Task Force on Health and Wellness
When I was asked to sit on this board in June 2018 to organize the hiking I had only one request that I be paid for the hikes.... and this was graciously granted.
Since then I have done my absolute best to deliver and grow the monthly hikes.
My paid contract was terminated in December 2020 (although I remained a member) and at a recent meeting it became apparent that members of the Task Force are expected to commit to ALL the activities of the Task Force as well as be actively involved in creating a "social cohesive image" (my words) to inspire and set an example to all Barbadians in all the "dimensions of wellness"....... a colossal sacrifice of a HUGE amount of time for the "public good"...... additionally, it was said that all members should get the vaccine as an example to the public.
So to summarize:
I am ONLY interested in hiking (and not the wider social agenda which I do not have the time for)
I am no longer receiving money for organizing hikes (which have grown so large) that the Barbados Defense Force is now "in charge" of them.
I have no intention of taking a COVID vaccine
I am thinking that I may organize my own group hiking (and will announce if/when that can become a reality) however:
It will be pitched to people who "love to hike" (and NOT people who need persuasion just to "walk from a chair to car")
It will be "hike at your own risk" (which makes sense because everything you do in life should be at your own risk and why should I be responsible for other people foolish choices..... and besides, how could I possibly know the state of YOUR health 😊)
There will be a small COST attached (I am NOT a charity) however it might be possible, eventually, to offer incentives (like giveaways, food, prizes or such like)
Thanks to all those persons who have come out (either because it's me 😊 or because they genuinely love any opportunity to hike) during my time on the board of the National Task Force on Health and Wellness..... wishing you all many more happy hiking days .... and secure safety from COVID contamination.

Hello Happy Hikers !!!!!!!

We had a MAMMOTH hike on Sunday afternoon at 3:20 pm (we moved off) and the FRONT LINERS were back by 5:00 pm ...... while the last stragglers arrived at 5:30 pm ...

A GOOD TIME was had by ALL 😁
... and we had 350 people .... can you believe it ?

Hello Happy Hikers and Lazy Loafers (who still follow all our adventures as Vicarious Virtual Victims and/or hopeless Armchair Addicts)

After a period of silence..... we are active once again...... but unfortunately the hike for this Sunday has been CANCELLED until further notice due to Ministry of Health public safety procedures in connection with the COVID-19 virus.

For your further information, I have completed the yearly hiking schedule and it is with the graphics designer .... so I am hoping it will soon be ready for distribution
