Tim and Bernardine Moore call Chester, Nova Scotia, Canada their home. Their first visit to Barbados was in 2001. They checked-in to the Crane Resort: a sprawling holiday haven at the World-Famous Crane Beach, with majestic views of the Southeast coast that are often referred to as “the most beautiful on earth.” It was a trip to remember.
The Moore’s fell in love with the powdery soft pink sand, they fell in love with the turquoise colours of the Caribbean, they fell in love with the golden sun, they fell in love with the tropical breeze and they certainly fell in love with the warm-hearted Bajan people.
Six months after their maiden voyage, the Moore’s returned to the Southwest coast of Barbados and stumbled upon Cragmere: a shabby, old home about a stone’s throw from the Crane Beach. They purchased it! And after 14 months of wall to wall renovations, the vacancy sign was slapped on the front gate and Moore’s welcomed their first guests. Cragmere Villa soon became a special place for families, friends and even celebrities from all different parts of the world. Cragmere’s success led the Moore’s to build a sister villa next door; they named it Winderemere. Both villas have set the highest standards of luxury oceanfront residences.From enormous outdoor terraces, private 40 ft infinity pools, picturesque daybeds, shaded gazebo areas, state-of-the-art underground sound systems, rooftop terraces, lush gardens and hand-crafted mahogany poster beds, no detail has been spared. “You have to have a WOW factor” Tim says; “That’s what makes this a special place for people to come. And I Love that.”
