Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Ingredients:

3 lb chuck post
3 lbs quartered russet potatoes or baby potatoes
2 lbs quartered peeled carrots
1 tsp onion powder (or 1 sliced onion)
3 teaspoons minced garlic (optional)
½ cup prepared horseradish (do not use the sauce version)
4 cups beef stock
Oil

For the gravy:

2 tbsp flour
2 tbsp butter
2 cups slow cooker cooking liquid
Instructions:
1. Heat the searing oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Season the chuck roast with salt and pepper. Sear the meat on all sides until browned.
2. Place the potatoes and carrots in the slow cooker. Season.
3. Add the seared chuck roast on top of the vegetables. If using onion powder, sprinkle it over the roast. Alternatively, add sliced onions and minced garlic.
4. Spread the prepared horseradish over the top of the roast.
5. Pour the beef stock into the slow cooker but around the meat, so horseradish isn't disturbed.
6. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 4-6 hours, until the meat is tender and easily shreddable.

Ground Beef Tacos

Be careful not to dry out the taco meat when you add the sauce. Once the beef is cooked, you want to cook it with the seasoning and liquid on medium low and just until the sauce starts to thicken. Keep an eye on it so it doesn’t dry out.
Heat up the tortillas before adding the ground beef on top. You can heat them up in the microwave, oven or on a skillet for 1-2 minutes per side. This makes the tortillas soft, pliable and much less likely to break.
Add onions to the mixture to make it more savory. You’ll want to cook the onions until they soften before adding the ground beef. It gives the taco meat a deeper flavor, but it’s totally optional. Adding onion powder is a quick easy update as well.

প্রথমে মিক্সারে ভালো করে ধুয়ে রাখা বাসমতি চাল বেটে নিতে হবে। এবার একটি প্যান গরম করে তাতে দুধ ঢেলে ফোটাতে হবে। গরম দুধের মধ্যে বেটে রাখা চাল ঢেলে দিতে হবে এবং দ্রুত নাড়াচাড়া করতে হবে, যাতে দলা বেঁধে না যায়। ততক্ষণ রান্না করতে হবে, যতক্ষণ না দুধ তিন ভাগের এক ভাগ না হয়ে যায়। এরপর এর মধ্যে চিনি মেশাতে হবে। চিনি দিয়ে তিন-চার মিনিট নাড়াতে হবে। এবার কুচানো কাঠবাদাম ও কাজুবাদাম দিতে হবে। এলাচ গুঁড়া ও গোলাপজল মিশিয়ে দিতে হবে। এরপর ঠান্ডা করে পরিবেশন করুন।

Coconut Dome with Chocolate Spread

Ingredients
Coconut Mousse:
2 gelatin sheets (4g)
200ml heavy cream
80g mascarpone
80g powdered sugar
120ml coconut milk
Cocoa Breton Shortbread:
120g powdered sugar
140g softened butter
160g all-purpose flour
25g unsweetened cocoa powder
A pinch of sea salt (essential detail ;))
1/2 sachet baking powder
3 egg yolks
Also:
Grated coconut
Gooey Cocoa Spread

Instructions
The day before or at least 6 hours in advance, start by making the coconut mousse:Whip the heavy cream with mascarpone in a very cold bowl, adding the powdered sugar gradually.Chill in the refrigerator while you prepare the rest.Soak the gelatin sheets in a large bowl of cold water.Heat the coconut milk in a saucepan, and when it’s warm, remove from heat and add the squeezed gelatin.Let it cool a bit, then gently fold it into the previously made whipped cream using a spatula.Pour the mousse into hemisphere molds, adding a teaspoon of spread halfway, cover it, then smooth it with a spatula.Place it in the freezer for at least 6 hours.Make the Breton shortbreads:Mix all the ingredients until you get a dough.Let it rest in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.On a floured surface, roll out the dough to about an inch in height.Cut out circles, then bake for 10 minutes at 180 degrees. Use rings to maintain a round shape (grease and flour them, or use tartlet molds).Let them cool completely.Remove the domes from the molds and place them on the cocoa shortbreads.Let them thaw for 2 hours at room temperature, then sprinkle grated coconut over the entire dome.Tip: If you want the spread to be gooey, enjoy it at room temperature.
