Our Story

Sundarbans tour package – 2019 – 2020 Duration: 2 nights / 3 days

The Sundarbans mangrove forest, one of the largest such forests in the world (140,000 ha), lies on the delta of the Ganges, Brahmaputra and Meghna rivers on the Bay of Bengal. It is adjacent to the border of India’s Sundarbans World Heritage site inscribed in 1987. The site is intersected by a complex network of tidal waterways, mudflats and small islands of salt-tolerant mangrove forests, and presents an excellent example of ongoing ecological processes. The area is known for its wide range of fauna, including 260 bird species, the Royal Bengal tiger and other threatened species such as the estuarine crocodile and the Indian python.

From Dhaka we start our overnight journey by bus to Khulna. Our guide will receive and take you to the boat on arrival early in the morning. Day-01:

We will start our journey to Sundarbans early in the morning from Khulna at 6.00am. We will reach Daingmary Forest office at 10.00am and stay in there from 10.00am-10.30am for pay revenue and collect forest clearance and Guard. At 10.30am our journey will start to Harbaria. We will arrive in Harbaria Mangrove trail Eco Park at 12.30pm and stay in Harbaria Mangrove trail Eco Park (walk the wooden bridge & view watch tower) at 01.00pm 02.00pm. At 02.00pm we will start our journey to Kochikhali Forest Spot and arrive at 09.30pm to 10.30pm on the spot. We will take our dinner at 08.30pm in launch. In this spot we will take night hold.

Day-02:

In 2nd day early in the morning we will visit Kochikhali Forest Spot (Tiger Point, Office Side & Dimer Char) at 06.00am to 09.00am. After breakfast in the morning at 09.00am our vessel will move to Kotka tourist spot. At 10.30am to 11.00am we will arrive in Kotka tourist spot. In Kotka we will visit Jamtola Watch Tower & we can take Sun bath in Badamtola see beach at 12.00pm-01.00pm. After 01.00pm we will back to launch and take our lunch and rest in Vessel. After lunch at 03.00pm we will visit the Kotka forest office side (walk the wooden bridge) of the largest Mangrove forest and enjoy the sunset & Cannel Crouse by Country Boat, after that we will come back on vessel before evening. After high tide we will start our return journey at 07.00pm-08.00pm and we will stay night on vessel in Chadpai (Joymoni) forest office site or Koromjal forest office site.

Day-03:

Make our return journey to Khulna at the day three early in the morning. At 07.30am will start our journey to Koromjal wildlife centre? At 09.30am to 10.00am we will arrive in Koromjal wildlife centre and visit the Koromjal wildlife centre (walk the wooden bridge, crocodile breeding farm & mini zoo) at 10.00am to 12.00pm. After visiting Koromjal wildlife centre at 01.00pm we will start back journey to Khulna and we almost will arrive in Khulna at 06.00pm to 06.30pm.

From Khulna at around 09:30 pm catch your return journey to Dhaka by Bus or 08:00 PM train journey. Package price per person = > BDT. 8500. Package Price included:

1. Transportation by Non A/c Bus (both way) 2. All Meals Day-1 to Day-03 (Breakfast +Lunch+ Dinner + tea/coffee available+ afternoon snacks & seasonal Fruits) 3. All Taxes, Forest Permission Fee, Tools and Armed Forest Guard for 3 days. 4. Overnight on Boat (Single room+ Double room + triple bedded room for 35 person) 5.
