লিবিয়া হতে আইওএম এর একটি চার্টার্ড ফ্লাইটে মেতিগা বিমানবন্দর হতে স্বেচ্ছায় দেশে গমনে ইচ্ছুক মোট ১২৪ জন বাংলাদেশি নাগরিককে দেশে প্রেরণ করা হয়েছে। লিবিয়ার বুরাক এয়ারের চার্টার্ড ফ্লাইটটি (UZ220) মেতিগা বিমানবন্দর হতে ২৬ অক্টোবর ২০২১ তারিখে বিকাল ০৪:৫০ ঘটিকায় উড্ডয়ন করে ২৭ অক্টোবর স্থানীয় সময় সকাল ০৭:৩০ ঘটিকায় ঢাকায় অবতরণ করেছে। প্রত্যাবাসনকৃত বাংলাদেশিদের মধ্যে ২২ জন অসুস্থ এবং কয়েকজন লিবিয়ার ডিটেনশন সেন্টারে দীর্ঘদিন আটক ছিলেন।

মান্যবর রাষ্ট্রদূত মেজর জেনারেল এস এম শামিম উজ জামান মহোদয় মেতিগা বিমানবন্দরে প্রত্যাবর্তনকারীদের বিভিন্ন বিষয় অবহিত করেন এবং তাদেরকে বিদায় জানান। এসময় তিনি ফ্লাইটটি যথাসময়ে পরিচালনা করার ক্ষেত্রে সর্বাত্মক সহযোগিতার জন্য লিবিয়ার অভিবাসন অধিদপ্তর (DCIM), মেতিগা বিমানবন্দরসহ সংশ্লিষ্ট সকল কর্তৃপক্ষ এবং আইওএমকে ধন্যবাদ ও কৃতজ্ঞতা জানান।

উল্লেখ্য, লিবিয়া হতে আইওএম এর সকল ফ্লাইট বন্ধ থাকার পর সম্প্রতি পুনরায় প্রত্যাবাসন প্রক্রিয়া শুরু হয়েছে। দূতাবাসের সর্বাত্মক প্রচেষ্টার ফলে আইওএম অগ্রাধিকার ভিত্তিতে আবেদনকারী বাংলাদেশিদের পর্যায়ক্রমে প্রত্যাবাসনের ব্যাবস্থা করছে। এই লক্ষ্যে বেনগাজীসহ লিবিয়ার পূর্বাঞ্চল হতে নিবন্ধিত প্রবাসীদের প্রত্যাবসনের জন্য দূতাবাস হতে ২৮ অক্টোবর ২০২১ তারিখে আইওএম এর একটি চার্টার্ড ফ্লাইট বেনিনা বিমানবন্দর হতে পরিচালনা করার প্রচেষ্টা অব্যাহত রয়েছে। এছাড়াও লিবিয়ার ডিটেনশন সেন্টারে আটক বাংলাদেশিদের দ্রুত সময়ের মধ্যে দেশে প্রত্যাবাসন করার জন্য দূতাবাসের সকল প্রচেষ্টা অব্যাহত আছে।

বাংলাদেশ থেকে মালয়েশিয়া ভ্রমণে নিষেধাজ্ঞা প্রত্যাহার করা হয়েছে। ২৮ তারিখ থেকে ট্রাভেল করা যাবে।
মালয়েশিয়ায় প্রবেশ করতে হলে, ভ্রমণকারীকে সম্পূর্ণরূপে টিকা দিতে হবে, ২ ডোজ। ভিসার জন্য আবেদন করার আগে মাইট্রাভেলপাস অনুমোদন পেতে হবে।
