As per the new budget of Bangladesh Government 2023-2024, travelers departing from Bangladesh now have to pay additional travel taxes. This policy is effective for tickets issued on/after 24 June 2023 and for travel on/after 01 July 2023.
Please find the updated information:
**Domestic departures: BDT 200
**International departures to SAARC countries: BDT 2,000
**International departures to North and South America, Europe, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, China, Japan, Hong Kong, North Korea, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Taiwan: BDT 6,000
**International departures to any other countries: BDT 4,000
What you need to know:
Children (passengers 5 to 11 years of age) continue to pay 50% of UT rate. Infants (under 5 years of age) continue to be exempt.
