THAI VISA APPLICATION
TOURIST VISA (TR)
This type of visa is issued to applicants who wish to enter the Kingdom for tourism or medical treatment purposes.
CHECKLIST
(Single Entry)
1. An application form completely filled out and signed by the applicant (signature must match with the signature in the current passport);
2. A valid passport for travelling to Thailand with sufficient remaining validity (not less than six months);
3. Passport must have at least 2 blank pages to accommodate immigration stamps;
4. A photocopy of the last Thai visa page (if any);
5. 1 color passport-sized photos (3.5 x 4.5cm), taken against a white background and within the past 6 months; Evidence of adequate finance e.g. current bank solvency and bank statement of the
last 6 months with satisfactory transaction (at least 20,000 Baht per person and
40,000 Baht per family or 60,000 Taka per person and 120,000 Taka per family).
6. Only original bank statement and bank solvency letter are acceptable. In case the
7. applicant is sponsored by his/her company, the company’s trade license, the company’s bank statement and bank solvency letter must be submitted;
8. Evidence shows applicant will leave Thailand after the trip, such as round-trip air ticket or travelling to a third country;
9. Visa request letter from the applicant;
10. No Objection Certificate (NOC) from employer if employed;
11. BMDC certificate or Letter from hospital if the applicant is a Doctor
12. Bar Council Certificate or letter from a law firm if the applicant is a lawyer
13. Recommendation letter from the school / university or student card / evidence of school / university enrolment;
14. Trade license in Bengali and a photocopy of notarized English translation;
Salary Bank Statement (preferably) / Pay Slip / Salary Certificate are required for
employees. In case applicant is unable to submit salary certificate, details must be
mentioned in the Office NOC;
Copy of Marriage Certificate (Nikah nama) and a photocopy of notarized English
translation;
Only for those who wishes to enter Thailand for a medical treatment purpose:
o Copy of appointment letter from hospital in Thailand
o Sponsorship letter along with sponsor’s bank statement and bank solvency
letter for attendants / house maids.

FOR FAMILY APPLICATION
Copies of documents of the first applicant, including a sponsorship letter, bank
statement, bank solvency letter, proof of relationship certificate (e.g. marriage
certificate, birth certificate).
NOTE:
1. The main applicant could sponsor their immediate family members only, namely
1) parents 2) spouse and 3) children.
2. Documents in languages other than English (including Bangla) must be translated
into English and shall be certified by a credible translator and a notary public.
