Alhamdulillah, the first Hajj flight from Bangladesh will be on 09/005/2024
In sha Allah, there is a desire to share some necessary information. Hopefully, we will all benefit.
There is a lot of patience involved in preparing for Hajj. Patience will be needed at every step. On the day of departure from Bangladesh, my husband lost his mobile at the airport itself, which we found after boarding the plane. Initially, the mind started to feel upset, but then it was realized that this journey is a journey of patience. It is not right to feel upset. Alhamdulillah, an airport worker found the phone and arrangements are being made to have it back in a few days. This is a personal experience. What situations can you expect overall? Let's discuss that now.
1. Here, the first test is with the agency. If a conflict arises due to lack of communication with work, it can lead to misunderstandings. However, it is important to maintain clarity with the agency right from the start. Focus more on making Umrah and Hajj beautiful. Focus on the basic things with the agency from the beginning. Don't be discouraged by the initial experience. If it is said to be a 40-day package, we ended up taking a 33-day package, which was very disappointing. But overall, we received good service from the agency. Alhamdulillah.
2. Many couples are seen arguing for no reason. It is the responsibility of every couple to be very cautious about this matter. One of Satan's successful works is creating disputes between couples. This matter should always be kept in mind.
3. Your roommate's behavior may not sit well with you. Perhaps they are talking on the phone all the time, and they get disturbed when you talk. They may leave the light off while you're sleeping or leave you standing in a specific place for half an hour after coming back. They may be putting their bags or scarves on your bed. Convey these matters humorously and let them know with a smile. Make sure to address it privately. Try to correct them. If not, the only option is patience.
4. Here, you won't find food like at your home. Remember, you are chosen among millions to be in the field of Hajj today. Don't look for fun or tasty food, as you may not like the taste. Please think of where the Great Lord has brought you.
5. The delay in getting many people's luggage can cause inconvenience. So, taking two sets of necessary clothes, medicines, etc., in your hand luggage is wise. You should be prepared just in case your luggage is lost and you are not disturbed.
6. Food costs, costs in the categories of Mount Arafat, toilet costs. You are a guest of Allah's house, so these costs are your earnings. There is a big difference between categories in MinÄ. Many times there is discomfort. But more cost is the biggest gift for Allah's beloved slaves.
7. Waiting in many places from immigration to the Hajj gives many important lessons. This waiting will get you closer to Allah's presence. When impatience is not evident, busy yourself with dhikr. It may be necessary to be ready long before going to Mina. The sleeping place there is very small. You may see someone with a cup of tea standing near your head. Even the tea may hit your neck. What will you do? Be patient and prepared.
8. During the days of Hajj, sitting in a bus seat or standing for women or muhrim is important. Although it may be sad, many people become very stressed about what they eat at Mount Arafat. Avoiding discomfort, whatever you do, be careful to refrain from it. There, you will see many Africans because there are no hotels on the road. Seeing them will give you courage and patience.
In this sacred field of Hajj, the beloved Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) came to sacrifice his son Ismail. We have not faced such a great test. In this same hot weather, the mother of Hajar (peace be upon her) ran mile after mile with her child Ismail (peace be upon him). Prophet Adam (peace be upon him) and Hawwa (peace be upon her) spent that night trying to find each other on the Muzdalifah. Alhamdulillah, we have transportation, AC, and halal food. So let's worship, focus less on complaints, and let Hajj be accepted in that direction. Let's make others' moments of humility and empathy more beautiful. There are no complaints; let my costs be accepted at the court of God. Let the lessons of patience in this journey of Hajj be the shadow of my life. Pray to Allah to make Hajj easier and acceptable. May Allah accept everyone's Hajj. Ameen.
