Go to Mohakhali Bus stand, search Dhaka-Birisiri bus counter which is adjacent to other counters of Greater Mymensingh bus route. Ticket is Tk.230/- (it is a direct bus, and bus quality is not so gorgeous and road condition is not too good. The last bus from Dhaka to Durgapur leaves around 6 pm. But it is advisable not to take the bus after 4 pm from Dhaka as it is around a 6 hours journey, and you do not want to arrive at a village late at night and have problems getting local transport once you get there. The first bus probably leaves around 8 am
Durgapur is just a new place for tourists, and this is because still sufficient tourist facility is not available. That's why new people who desire 100% smooth journey, can think to start journey toward this place in winter season. Durgapur by Bus from Mymensingh:
You have to take the local bus from Mymensingh at the bus terminal near Bhrammaputra bridge for a "Mymensing-Birisiri" route

As far as i know, there are 4 CNG stations in Mymensingh and these are the last and nearest ones to Susung Durgapur. I don't know whether there is a CNG station in Netrokona. Since the route towards Durgapur doesn’t touch Netrokona Town, so it's irrelevant to its availability in Netrokona (unless somebody plans to go to Netrokona). Durgapur by Train:
There is no direct Train to Susung Durgapur or Birisiri from Dhaka. The last train station (route is Mymensingh-Jaria-Mymensingh) is located at Jaria. Then after 13 KM, Susung Durgapur is located.recently, Mymensingh-Jaria-Mymensingh Train service along with the route is improved and somebody prefer to avail this Train eapecially who desires to go to Durgapur from Mymensingh. After a long waiting, construction of 37 Kilometers long Shamgonj-Birisiri-Durgapur Road has been started on March, 2011. Aiming to construct a local Highway for this locality (Susung Durgapur and its surroundings) this project has been taken, which in turn will explore the prospects of this locality in terms of Tourism, collecting mineral resources (White Clay, Coal, Sands, Stones etc), Business and so on. It’s supposed to complete this Road project by December, 2013. We congratulate the local representatives of this area who have taken necessary initiatives to make this project possible and at the same time we urge all to have a close look for completion of the project in time.
