সাজেক ভ্যালি। ভারতের মিজোরাম সীমান্ত লাগোয়া রাঙ্গামাটি জেলার সর্বউত্তরে বাঘাইছড়ি উপজেলার অর্ন্তগত সাজেক বর্তমান সময়ের একটি বিখ্যাত পর্যটন কেন্দ্র হিসেবে পরিচিত। বাংলাদেশ সেনাবাহিনী, বিজিবি এবং পুলিশ প্রশাসন কর্তৃক পর্যটন কেন্দ্রটিতে নিরাপত্তা নিশ্চিত করায় দিন দিন বাড়ছে পর্যটকের সংখ্যা। প্রতি বছর শীতকালে পর্যটকদের একটু বেশি ভীড় থাকে এখানে। ৭০২ বর্গমাইলের দেশের সবচেয়ে বড় সাজেক ইউনিয়নের রুইলুই পাড়া এবং কংলাক পাড়া নিয়ে গড়ে উঠেছে এ পর্যটন কেন্দ্রটি।

সমুদ্রপৃষ্ঠ থেকে ১৮শ ফিট উচ্চতায় অবস্থিত বাংলার ভূস্বর্গ খ্যাত সাজেকের রুইলুই পাড়া এবং কংলাক পাহাড় পর্যটন কেন্দ্র। মেঘ-পাহাড়ের দেশ হিসেবে পরিচিত নৈস্বর্গিক সৌন্দর্যপূর্ণ এ পর্যটন কেন্দ্রটি সহসাই মন কেড়ে নেয় পর্যটকদের। সূর্যদয় এবং সূর্যাস্তের পাশাপাশি কিছু দূর তাকালেই চোখে পরবে মেঘের চাদরে ডাকা পাহাড়ের সৌন্দর্য।

রাঙামাটি জেলার ছাদ হিসেবে পরিচিত সাজেকে মূলত লুসাই, পাংখোয়া এবং ত্রিপুরা আদিবাসির বসবাস হলেও, পর্যটন কেন্দ্রটির বেশির ভাগ রিসোর্ট বাঙালিদের। এখানে ঘুড়তে এসে সৌন্দর্য উপভোগের পাশাপাশি জিনিস পত্রের দাম বেশি রাখাসহ নানান সমস্যার কথা তুলে ধরেন পর্যটকরা। আর রিসোর্ট মালিকরা বলছেন সীমাবন্ধতার কারণে অনেকটা বাধ্য হয়েই টাকা বেশি নিতে হচ্ছে তাদের। সাজেকে যাওয়ার পথে আদিবাসীদের জীবনযাপন আর চারদিকে মেঘের আনাগোনা পর্যটকদের দৃষ্টি কেড়ে নেয়।।.....এস. এ টিভি
