Garden of Caves:
Location: near the village of Sohra, Cherrapunjee.
It was broadly used by the Khasi tribes for hiding from the British during the days of their colonial rule. As the whole area is surrounded by virgin forests, it became easier for them to hide amidst the deep jungle and entwining creepers.
