Gilles Despreaux is your culinary guide of La Chapelle for our 2022 season. Hailing from Paris his path has crossed several notorious star restaurants working alongside some of the most inspiring chefs and culinary minds that created his current signature style. Going to our restaurant is a true discovery, including a medieval wine cellar that houses the most exquisite and biodynamic natural wines. Our menu is mainly composed according to a farm-to-fork principle: local, fresh, and, where possible in collaboration with local farmers in order to strengthen the economic and social ties with the region and its people. Our chef cooks a weekly six to eight-course menu. Creating new dishes that are always in tune with the rhythm of nature and what the farmer in his field has to offer. This, combined with culinary discoveries and recent worldwide inspirations.

info: We welcome family or friends in our family room, two rooms with one shared bathroom in the hallway. The medieval walls inside Château de la Chapelle keep the secret of an untold history. Our rooms breathe the historic farm castle feel combined with up-to-date comfort and design. Our beds have been developed for good and durable sleeping comfort. As in our belief, a good night's sleep is the best inspiration for a fresh new day within the Condroz!

The bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower. As for the bath and body amenities we teamed up with Atelier Rebul, who proudly represent a 125-year old pharmaceutical heritage, always combining the most natural raw materials with the most advanced scientific formulas that totally fits our philosophy. Vrienden van La Chapelle

De aankoop van het domein was een coup de foudre. Een site die nog zo origineel is en gewoon geschiedenis uitademt. Van de kapel is reeds sprake in de 13de eeuw en de seigneurie de la Chapelle was de grootste in de streek onder de prins van Limburg.

Terug naar de realiteit blijft dit een hele uitdaging. Doelstelling is om iedereen zo goed mogelijk te laten genieten van deze unieke site, zowel van de geschiedenis als het domein, een typische vallei in de Condroz. Dit vraagt naast veel investering ook heel veel werk inzake restauratie en onderhoud van tuin en gebouwen.

Iedereen die verblijft in Château-Ferme de la Chapelle kan meegenieten en draagt ook meteen zijn steentje bij in het onderhoud en de verbetering van het geheel.
