Well, horses are lovely but high maintenance, a running bill as they say. More important they only carry 1 person, so maybe buying a (classic) car is less selfish🤔.

Vive la France🇫🇷

Te mooi om niet te delen op de Franse Nationale Feestdag...
Vorig weekend hadden we een verkleedfeestje met als thema 'alles wat begint met de letter F' voor de verjaardag van onze waarde vriend en soon to be oldtimerowner .
We gaven hem een ritje met de Giulia cadeau met de nodige cravings tot gevolg😍

Eerlijkheid gebiedt ons te zeggen dat Fristi met de hoofdprijs ging lopen. Yours truly eindigde slechts 3de. De Fransoos kwam er zelfs niet aan te pas. Van colère sloeg hij zijn stokbrood kapot en ging ervandoor. Story goes dat hij al een week aan het staken is.

In 2019 I decided to give up my job and take a new direction. I did not know what would float my boat, so I spent some months contemplating. Let's say I quickly found what sunk my financial accounts, but the memories made are worth every penny.
Here you see la Nonna at 5:30 am on a desolate Tuscan road. This might be one of the most beautiful sunrises I have ever seen... And even though the picture is not focused as it should be, it still says more than a 1000 words🙂

Het tweede roadbook van de Coupe de Belgique start in Doornik.
De skyline van deze stad aan de Schelde wordt gedomineerd door de imposante kathedraal met zijn vijf even hoge torens. Zeker de moeite om eens een kijkje te nemen. In Antwerpen krijgt men er nog geen twee af, in Doornik daarentegen....

Het eerste roadbook van de Coupe de Belgique start in Ieper.
De start op de Grote Markt geeft je ineens de perfecte backdrop voor je eerste fotootje/herinnering. De Lakenhallen zijn impressionant en herbergen ook het Flanders FIelds Museum. Zeker de moeite om eens een kijkje te nemen. Nadien vervolg je je route door de Flanders Fields, langs kronkelende baantjes vervolg je je weg naar Cassel (FR). En dan ben je nog maar halfweg😎
