EMBASSY OF GHANA PARTICIPATES IN HERITAGE DAYS 2022

On Saturday, 17th September, 2022, the Embassy of Ghana was pleased to welcome about ninety (90) registered visitors to its Chancery at Avenue de Tervuren, as part of the celebration of Heritage Days 2022. The Day which sought to bring the people of the Brussels-Capital Region closer to their city’s heritage and cultural diversity, was celebrated by several other diplomatic Missions and international organisations.

Visitors to the Embassy were first given a presentation on Ghana, its people, history and culture, as well as the work of the Embassy in Brussels and the bilateral relations between Ghana and Belgium. They were given a guided tour of the Chancery building which included the Embassy’s Product Gallery with Made-in-Ghana products on display, as well as a photo gallery of past and present Heads of State of Ghana, and Ambassadors of Ghana to Belgium. The tour was followed by the presentation of promotional videos on Ghana’s tourism, tradition and culture as well as trade and investment opportunities, and ended with the tasting of Ghanaian foods and delicacies, including the famous jollof rice, made-in-Ghana chocolates and other takeaway packages.

The Heritage Days 2022 was generally a success, and the Embassy was proud to associate with the event.
