When you find a (new) specimen, you want to know what it is and if it is already known or not.
You describe what you see, measure it and in the lab DNA could be extracted.
The DNA can be compared to existing databases, such as Mycobank, and the best match will be found. (www.mycobank.org)

All findings can be stored in a BioloMICS database. Specific fields can store various types of data such as pictures, GIS locations, sequences, administrative data, dates like collection date or isolation date and much more.

BioAware is a company that cares very much about the way we 'work' with the 'clients'.
Support can be given in multiple languages, since our team masters 4 languages fluently (English, French, Dutch and Arabic).
The 'main language' of our support documentation is English.
We constantly work to improve our documentation including instruction movies on how to use certain functionalities of the software (desktop and web).

Today a new instruction movie was publish explaining how to create an export template that can be used on the web. This means that a visitor of the website can search for certain items through the query and export information from the items found.
