When you find a (new) specimen, you want to know what it is and if it is already known or not.
You describe what you see, measure it and in the lab DNA could be extracted.
The DNA can be compared to existing databases, such as Mycobank, and the best match will be found. (www.mycobank.org)

BioAware is a company that cares very much about the way we 'work' with the 'clients'.
Support can be given in multiple languages, since our team masters 4 languages fluently (English, French, Dutch and Arabic).
The 'main language' of our support documentation is English.
We constantly work to improve our documentation including instruction movies on how to use certain functionalities of the software (desktop and web).

Ontology!? What is ontology data?
If you have something that belongs to something bigger then you are dealing with ontology.
For example the city Perugia is in the province Umbria, in the country Italy, in the continent Europe which is in the world.
Another example is taxonomic data where you have the different levels of classification.
But how to manage those data in the BioloMICS database?
