UPDATE - I think I've narrowed this guy down to being on a Viking Cruises Community tour. Paris, the Somme and Ypres so far!

PLEASE SHARE especially if you have contacts with battlefield museums/sites!!!

Found this at Essex Farm!!! I've been able to download the images from it so have seen the owner.
They were on the Somme on the 4th December, Newfoundland Park. It also looks like they are on a coach trip. So either the camera was lost in the afternoon of the 4th but I'm suspecting it would have been Yesterday, (5th).

Anyone know of any coach groups around yesterday/today??? It was an older group and the accent sounded Canadian......

On a sleepy coach (the boys not the driver) after 3 days with these wonderful Kiwis. Focusing on the Otago Regiments movements during the battles of the Somme, Messines, Passchendaele and Le Quesnoy. Amazing time.

You can't see it, but it is currently HAILING. Mental weather on the Somme today. But we are loving the adventure down here, including being helpless to a coach stuck in mud at Mamatz. Felt guilty driving off in the van waving at all of the students. 😬
Day on the Somme with 2 families brought together by love. Estonia and UK. ❤️

I may have also been caught by mud recently.....thank goodness for friendly people being around with a jack on the back of their van..... 🤭😳😳😳😳😳

A visit to Le Quesnoy today. Finally. Wow, this place did not disappoint. What an incredible sculpture. The attention to detail was amazing. It felt like he would begin talking at any second. Well worth a visit to learn more about the New Zealand Liberation of Le Quesnoy.

Back on the Somme today. Very quiet on the battlefields at the moment, always special to be able to take more time on tours.

I have always been a gamer, and before I became a great war guide, I played Battlefield 1, a game set in France in WWI. It increased my interest in the subject for sure. Now, I'm trying out War Hospital, and ya know, it's really good at helping you understand the difficulties faced with supplies, lack of staff and the exhaustion as well as helplessness they felt. I would definitely recommend it for lovers of history and strategic gaming.

Last week saw the temperatures in the minus. I LOVE guiding in this weather. We all wrap up, ice is sparkling on the stones, and a nice pot of hot coffee in the van. Those blue skies made it all so much more beautiful.
