This weekend is solo - I ❤ solo travelling. So when a house is not booked, I sometimes escape, with the excuse of preparing some social media content…

Do I get bored or lonely spending a weekend alone in the forest? It happens, however, nothing a good book or cooking a delicious meal cannot solve. My slow mornings, long baths, and long reading sessions, are priceless!

A little city trip to Brussels, or a concert planned? Brussels stole my heart over the last years. The city has magical vibes. I love to switch between world cuisine and traditional beligian dishes like ‘worst met stoemp’, a little concert at walking distance and my favorite is also the antique markets on Sundays where I can time travel and reconnect with my past lives… Some treasures of my flea market hunts on the pictures …

- Disney under a blanket in a flanel pyjama, yes you can sing as loud as you want ‘hakuna matata’ - 'let it go' 🎶
- Kitchen quality time to re-stock that freezer 👩‍🍳
- Invite friends for stoemp met worst – easy and everyone loves it
- High tea with the girls 👯
- Hot chocolate milk with a romantic chick flick ☕
- Reading harry potter for the 100’th time .. ⚡
- Build that lego castle 🏰

and before we know it we can plunge into the forest and garden full of blossoms and enjoy spring sun rays. 🌞😎

My new year’s resolution: more trips and getaways! Why? Well, if I summarize 2024, my trips are the milestones I remember. Not the long evenings in the office or doing ‘errands’. 🤨

With all our holiday homes fully booked with guests celebrating the new year, we are truly grateful for the progress we made in 2024, a wobbely year with renovating and launching 2 new homes. We made it! 😌😅
