Thor Park Live and Afro Latino are a double festival at the same location. The first 2 days hosts top Belgian and Dutch bands like Clouseau, Metejoor, Natalia, Direct, Suzan & Freek and Chef’s Special. As the name suggests, Afro Latino has some Latin, African and reggae bands on the bill, like Gente de Zona, Sean Paul, Sergent Garcia and UB40.
KO-sound provided an 2x 16 Adamson array augmented by 28x KO S18 subs, all powered by Lab Gruppen amps. Consoles were Digico SD10 and SD12. For the Afro Latino part, KO brought in additional Yamaha CL5 and CL3 consoles, 14x F15 bi-amp wedges and 14x Sennheiser IEM systems

The Graspop Metal Meeting has been an annual client since the 1990s. This year too, we supplied all the audio for the Marquee (24x D&B KSL, GSL subs), the Jupiler stage (24x D&B GSL subs) and the Metaldome (30x Adamson S10, KO S18 subs). Monitors were 36 bi-amped KO F15 monitors divided over the 3 stages, with around 20 channels of Shure and Sennheiser IEM systems. The mixing desk inventory was Digico SD10, SD12, SD9, Yamaha CL5 and CL3, and 3x Midas PRO2.

April 1st 1999 we provided for the first time a PA system in a venue called Hof ter Lo in Antwerp, and we didn’t leave since. Last Monday we celebrated our 25th year of supplying audio in this venue, which is nowadays called Trix. Many thanks to the promotors, engineers and local crew that has been working with us these past years, and all the attendants to the party that made this evening one to remember. Up to the next 25 😀
