Today is Todorovden, the day of the holy Theodore, celebrated in the Orthodoxe Church and by all horse lovers as the day is also known as the Horse Easter.

The legend tells on this day Saint Ttheodore dressed himself in nine furs and went to God to beg him for the summer to come. In connection with the image the people have created of the saint, horse races are held all over Bulgaria.

The wild life is active again. The other morning we saw wild boars with about 8 yearlings on one of the slopes.
