Bansko 4x4 Safari
UAZ can take up to 6 clients / persons / guests, excluding the driver
The Jeep is without a roof so it's *weather permitting on the day of the safari
COST
Half day Safari
1 to 4 persons is 300 leva per trip
and
5-6 persons 350 leva per trip not per person
*All day Safari (7 hours) for up to 4 persons 450 leva
3+ hour trip (half day Safari) - if clients want to stop
for a drink or lunch then we have a few places we can recommend such as Dobrinishte or if open in the Summer the Trout farms
Safari by appointment
Excursion; Pick you up directly at 10.30am from your Chalet or Hotel, example of trip, drive from Bansko to Dobrinishte cross country. On the way stop for a cultural visit to the Church up in the Mountains and visit the Archaeological site / Excavations. Then walk a short way to a fantastic viewing point near the top of the water fall, great views to be had (it's a great photo opportunity) then walk down to the Waterfall. Then back in the Jeep to a restaurant for a warm up (Summer, or possibly up the mountain a little to the Trout Farm for a pit stop) Clients have time to buy a beer, a snack if they would like to. Then back in the Jeep, 4x4 over to Banya, through a stream and then a river, late lunch or a drink then back to Bansko via the secret lake. Roughly back at 2pm depending on photos, lunch.
*All Day Safari; On this trip you do the excursion as explained above but we also go up into the Hills on logging trails so its 4x4ing and getting right into the hills and mountains. Sometimes we do not see anybody, just nature and the "logging track" means we have to put the Jeep through its paces. Depending upon weather, it's not so good if its raining or snowing on the day as the Jeep is open topped or if we have fresh snow and its too deep to plough through. Summer, water, hat and suncream / block recommended and in the Winter a warm Coat, hat, gloves and walking Shoes or Boots recommended on the day
