Like everyone else, I'm battling the huge utility bills in the UK. Not sure how it is in Bansko, and the rest of Bulgaria, but Britian is excessively high prices for Food, all utilities and other fuels.
Ive been luck over the years to bring back BG wood burning stoves and I have an oven at home.
I have not used my elec oven since the start of the bad weather. Ive cooked stews, roasts, baked potatoes and cakes, furit cakes christmas cakes and Cheese cakes.
I was laughed at by my freinds in the UK for bringing back this wood burning oven. Now lets see who is laughing Lukasz and my other non bleieving buddies!!!
Not only does it warm the house and incidently my underwear drawers( the chimney runs behind the built in wardrobe and drawers in my bedroom) it cooks all my food and heats my hot water. THe energy company keep trying to suggest the most excessive utility bills and I keep sending in customer readings and even sent them a photo of the wood burning oven.
I shall bring some back this summer to sell, as I'm almost out of the wood burning stoves now, so my next trip wi will bring back more and add the ovens to my reportoir, ive had at least one pre order :-) Not sure I should admit to this, but its really good fun cooking on it, sitting by it with the fore door open watching the flames, reading book in the dining room with it blasting out the heat. Even collecting wood when i'm out walkign My dog Riley, its like a life style change.... how sad am I :-) ANyway Merry christmas and Happy new year to you all, and if you want an oven or stove bringing back let me know.
Stoves are £549 for 6 to 8kw and they are cast iron, not sure about the ovens but will check out the prices and I suggest £700. but wait and see as they are heavier than the stoves.
