Please note that during the pandemic while I was in hospital blackseascuba.com domain was sold because I was late in renewing my subscription, despite owning it since 2008.

It is now a P**N site and I apologise to anyone who has looked at it and been shocked. This is not me and despite many attempts I can't resolve the issue.

Unfortunately I also lost my website too and will have to build another under blacksea-scuba.com.

Welcome to summer 2022. ☀️🥵🎉🎊

This year sees us rebuilding after a difficult past few seasons especially due to COVID. I'm training some new Club members with a view to having some new local instructors and the return of Geoff 😁👌

This year may be limited but for those that want to join our Club, you are most welcome and all training is part of the membership 👌👌👌👌

We are hoping that once we reach the sunshine of spring that restrictions will be relaxed permitting us to dive. But until we can, this allows us the opportunity to complete all technical and shore based training in preparation ☺️☺️.

Welcome to summer in Bulgaria. It has been around 30 degrees every day so far and you can feel it. 😎😎😎
We are currently looking for a new base on the coast but until then we are available.

First of all please accept my apologies for not posting sooner.
We are still here, but looking for a new location for next year. We are also looking for a new way of operating in the south: Sunny Beach and beyond.
The BSAC club is still welcoming new members and those from other clubs. If you are looking to finish a qualification, we would be delighted to help.

Looking for good weather and calm seas this 2017 summer as once again we will be up and running from the end of this month until middle of September. Focus this year is lighthearted fun and friends and of course fantastic food. If you are in the Varna area come and enjoy the warm seas. :)

As many of our friends that know us have discovered we have had limited operations early this season. We were forced to close down temporarily due to the owner being seriously ill and requiring several surgeries which is currently ongoing. We hope to be able to continue operations but as of this writing, are unsure if that is possible this year. We apologize that we are currently unable to take any new dive requests.

Soon Ladies and gentlemen,... soon the Black Sea diving season will be upon us! We have several groups booked already from May to Sept and more inquiries coming in weekly.

This year we have decided to be more mobile and flexible instead of a traditional single location. It is for this reason that we encourage you to contact us by email or phone ahead of time if you wish to get in on the action! Last minute requests are very hard to accommodate and will only be granted if there is a group already going out and they approve an additional diver. (Some groups wish to only dive with their members so we must ask them) Your skill level must be similar or better than the group for safety reasons as well. During the season if we have a group in advance that has available slots we will post them here on Facebook so you know it is available.

As always we like to remind everyone that although we love to go diving as often as possible, sometimes the Black Sea does not cooperate and bad weather can be out of our control. If we can go to an alternate spot we will, but often we cannot and have to postpone or cancel. Please do not be upset with us personally as we have not learned how to do the perfect weather dancing ceremony. ( we are currently consulting various indigenous tribes over the world to try and improve our chances) ;)

Well that is another year wrapped up. Thanks to all the friends we had that came out and dove with us this year!

We also apologize but due to an ongoing conflict of interest with the hotel complex we have removed our dive center from the property and will be re-positioning in a new location for next year. We will also be undergoing repairs to the damaged buildings we leased and renovating storage space to allow us better accessibility to our Rib boats.

This will allow us greater freedom of movement along the coast for accessing wrecks that we were unfortunate not to be able to access this year and streamline our operation.

We hope to see you all again next season!
