When booking A Mindful Escape retreat you are not booking just another yoga retreat. Our retreats are structured to actively work with our guests, who need support in certain areas of life. We provide them with the tools to cope and continue with these newly learned practices once they leave the retreat.

We focus on coaching, therapy and healing paired with movement workshops. Each guest gets a total of 24 sessions for the duration of the retreat. We have weaved in the perfect blend of mind, body and soul practices.

All this, while eating seasonal, locally grown food helping to reduce inflammation and drinking perfectly balanced herbal teas.

A little overview of our location and its history. It has a special place in Deyana’s heart, but that’s a story for another time.

The area has been towering over the town of Sliven for centuries. Legends call it the ‘healthy place’ as back in the day when different diseases swept through Europe, this area never had sick people. The name - ‘Karandila‘ comes from Turkish and means ‘no illness, no death’.

The name of our retreat location ‘Blue Stones’ comes from the large array of gray-blue and violet-colored rocks, which are the largest deposit of this type on the Balkan Peninsula. The paths that meander around the villas, leading up to the peak, are known for the beautiful sightseeing spots and the stunning wild orchids that bloom in season.

The stones in the area date back to ancient times and are thought to have spiritual writings and hieroglyphs. The area is known for supporting healing practices.

Today we wanted to share our location accommodation. We believe that healing can be done in nature while not lacking modern day luxuries like crisp, cotton sheets, a king size bed, a few sparkly chandeliers and a spacious bathroom.

Our villa aside from boasting centuries old forest, also includes sauna and a steam room. Choosing the location for our retreats has not been random. It took months of scouting for a place that is remote, is located in an area known for its healing vibes and also offers all the amenities we wanted 😍
