Your NEW MEETING POINT is by the Central Bus/Train Station in Sofia, please check the link for the exact location: https://maps.app.goo.gl/vetPrWZaCTABMkP69

⚠️ Please disregard any other pick-up/meeting point instructions you may find in reservation confirmations or automated messages received.

We kindly ask you to be at this new pick-up location at least 15 minutes prior to your departure time and allow yourself a longer time to get to the location. We recommend that you use Sofia Metro, since most overground transport like buses, trolleys or taxis may be stuck in huge traffic or not operate due to the closure of many central streets for the marathon routes.

The success of any guided trip rests on the teamwork between the guide and the driver. These are the two most important figures during any day or multiple-day tour. However, quite often the guide "steals" most of the credit for a great service as he or she is the one actively communicating with the foreign visitors.

With this post we would like to present you with one of our hard-working, good-faithed and very friendly colleague - Dimitar Eikov (a.k.a. Uncle Mitko). He has been a driver at Traventuria for almost two years now. But if you have met him at least once, you would think that he's been here a lot longer. With his easy going character, always smiling and genuine sense of humor, chicho (uncle) Mitko will make you smile and certainly will make you enjoy not only your ride, but your day trip as well. He will be part of the group and even pose with a butterfly on his hand for you to photoshoot it if needed. :)) He will drive you safe and sound with the confidence of a true and experienced driver who loves his job.

Safe travels, uncle Mitko! We are grateful for your positive attitude and genuine responsiveness even in difficult moments.

С този пост бихме искали да ви представим един от нашите уважавани колеги - Димитър Ейков (още известен сред нас като "Чичо Митко"). 🚙 Join us for a day trip to Buzludzha Monument and the Rose Valley!

The Monument House of the Bulgarian Communist Party, also known as the BUZLUDZHA MONUMENT, was built on Buzludzha peak (1441m) in central Bulgaria by the Bulgarian communist government and inaugurated in 1981. After the government's fall in 1989, the site was abandoned.
Today the Monument can be seen only from outside. However, the views from the peak are worth visiting.
Let us take you on a day trip to the Buzludzha Monument and Rose Valley. On the way we'll show you the Bulgarian oil-producing rose Damascena at the Rose Valley near Kazanlak. Another trip stop will be the Russian Orthodox-style church in Shipka.
