Our Story

We guarantee you lovely respite, hunting, riding and photo safari by us! Our wish is to share your emotion and charge you with power and new energy for the strenuous tomorrow. Situated in the very close proximity to the Bulgarian National Revival town Elena, on the Northern slopes of the Balkan mountain, the hunting preserve “Bukovetz” occupies the territory of one of the oldest game preserves in Bulgaria, dated still from the Czarist Bulgaria. Since 2003 the management of the preserve is realized by us and inherits the hunting traditions in this region, which were created during the decades in order to prove the preserve as one of the most demanded hunting destinations. The area of the preserve amounts to 29.000 hectares, mainly deciduous woodland- beech forests. The altitude varies between 300 m and 1300 m. The region is characterized with temperate continental mild climate. The terrain is proper for all kinds of hunting. There are built roads over the whole territory, on which you can easy reach every point of the preserve. The interweaving of the extreme and easy terrains makes the hunting interesting and challenging, even for the most fastidious taste - real hunting adventure! The available equipment - jeeps and the 4x4 military machines, transports our guests to the most remote nooks in the preserve. For the unusual severe winter days and months we have prepared special tracked machines, in which the travelling off-road in extreme conditions is a real pleasure! Within the territory of the preserve, there are constructed modern raised hides and hunting high stands, which are well heat- and noise- insulated. The preserve dispose of very good conditions for bow- hunting too, which is already official approved in Bulgaria. The concerns about the flora and the fauna and the wonderful virgin nature contribute for the variety and the wealth of different game species. All over the territory we keep the natural habitats of the Brown Bear, Red Deer, Fallow Deer, Wild Boar, Roe Deer and the Moufflon. The variety of the wild fauna is presented from the pheasant, partridge, quail and the hare too. The plenty of game cornfields and meadows, and the well- established nourishing base in the preserve contribute to the development of the different populations with fast temps even in the tough winter periods. There are very well instructed PHs, who offer successful hunt from a high stand and by stalking. Particularly attractive and emotional are the Driven Hunts. The many in number Wild Boars, the dynamic of the hunt, the great results of the shot (not seldom there are trophies with a length 22- 26 cm) leave unforgettable memories in our guests and friends! Deep century-old coniferous and deciduous forests, vast lush meadows and glades, the fast- flowing clear mountainous streams, abounding in trout… Amazing panorama views- real delight for the eyes… Varied flora and fauna! These are only outlines from the general picture of the hunting preserve.
