A 60+ classic world travel private expedition yacht ,renowned for its exclusive off- the- beaten track itinerary is seeking a hardworking and experienced Female 2nd Officer to join the team in Genoa, Italy in mid of January 2025.

We are looking for professional with minimum of 3 years’ experience in this role, aboard vessels of similar size, demonstrating proven longevity and supported by good references.

The candidate will join and exceptional team, led by an amazing Owner and Captain, alongside a health- conscious, mature crew in a highly supportive environment.

Candidate requirements

Applicants should be:
professional, dynamic, well- presented and organized, with excellent team-work skills.
fluent in English (knowledge of French or Spanish is a plus).
a non-smoker with no visible tattoos.
Minimum Certificates and Qualifications:

OOW 3000 ( minimum)
Basic STCW training
Valid medical certificate
Powerboat license
EU passport or valid Schengen visa
USA visa B1/B2 and/or C1/D

Additional Assets, being a plus:

Diving certificates
Commercial shipping experience

Preference will be given to candidates currently based in Europe.
Contract offer:

Salary: € 5’600/month (revised to € 6’200 after completing a successful 90-day trial period on board)
Leave : 60 days/year
