๐ KASAYSAYAN AT LAYUNIN NG EID UL-ADHA
Ang kasaysayan ng Eid ul-Adha ay bumabalik pa sa panahon ni Propeta Abraham, isang pangunahing pigura sa Hudaismo, Kristiyanidad, at Islam. Ang Eid ul-Adha ay nagpapaalaala sa dakilang pangyayari nang utusan ng Allah si Abraham sa isang panaginip na isakripisyo ang kanyang anak bilang isang gawang pagsunod.
"At, nang siya [ang kanyang anak] ay sapat na ang gulang upang lumakad kasama niya, sinabi niya, 'O anak ko! Nakita ko sa isang panaginip na inaalay kita, kaya ano ang masasabi mo! 'Sabi niya,' O aking ama! Gawin mo kung ano ang iniutos sa iyo, kung nais ng Allah, masusumpungan mo akong matiisin. '" ๐(Qur-an 37:102)
Nang isasasakripisyo na ni Abraham ang kanyang anak, ang Allah ay nagpahayag sa kanya na ang kanyang "sakripisyo" ay natupad na. Ipinakita niya na ang kanyang pagmamahal para sa kanyang Panginoon ay hinalinhan ang lahat ng iba pang uri ng pagmamahal, na siya ay gagawa ng anumang sakripisyo upang sumuko sa Allah. Isang bersyon ng kasaysayan ay lumitaw din sa Lumang Tipan ng Bibliya.
Ang ilang mga tao ay nalilito kung bakit inutusan ng Allah si Abraham na katayin ang kanyang sariling anak. Ang kilalang klasikal na Islamikong iskolar, na si Ibn al-Qayyim ay ipinaliwanag, "ang layunin ay hindi para katayin ni Abraham ang kanyang anak; sa halip ito ay upang isakripisyo siya na sa kanyang puso ang lahat ng pag-ibig ay pagmamay-ari ng Allah lamang.
Kaya, ito ay isang bahagi ng ating tradisyon na sa panahon ng pinagpalang Sampung Araw ng Dhul-Hijjah at sa araw ng Eid ul-Adha ay ginugunita natin ang sakripisyo ni Abraham. Sinasalamin natin kung ano ang nagdala sa kanya bilang isang malakas na mananampalataya at isa sa kamahal-mahal sa Allah, siyang pinagpala ng Allah at ginawang pinuno ng lahat ng mga bansa upang sundin.

โHinihiling ko sa Allah na ang pag-aayuno sa araw na ito ay patatawarin ng Allah sa kanya ang kanyang mga pagkakasala sa taon na lumipas at sa taon na darating o kasunod nito.โ

ARRIVING IN THE PHILIPPINES
New arrival and quarantine procedures are place for international travelers arriving in Manila, Bohol, Cebu, Clark, Laoag, Subic and Davao. Visit Arriving in the Philippines page for more information.
All arriving passengers are required to register to the Bureau of Quarantine's One Health Pass page.
Payment of the fees for RT-PCR tests, as well as the cost of hotel accommodation, shall be shouldered by the traveler; except that the cost for OFWs shall be shouldered by the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (for land-based OFWs) and by MARINA or the local manning agency (for sea-based OFWs).

GUIDELINES FOR PASSENGERS OF CANCELLED FLIGHTS:
If your flight is cancelled, we wish to assure you that your current tickets are safe and remain valid. Please visit Passenger Options page for more information.
If you need to take another RT-PCR test for your new flight schedule, you may undergo RT-PCR testing at PAL's own testing facility at PAL Learning Center, PAL Gate 3, PAL Data Center Building, or NAIA Terminal 2 North wing area (see above information on " TAKE YOUR COVID TEST AT PAL'S TESTING FACILITIES").
FLYING SAFELY IN THE โNEW NORMALโ
PAL is strictly implementing Fly Safe โnew normalโ practices to protect our passengers, in compliance with international health and safety protocols.
Please bring your own face masks and wear them at all times โ at the airport and throughout your flight.
We encourage you to check-in online and arrive early at the airport to allocate extra time for new safety proceduresโ at least 3 hours prior to departure for domestic flights; and 4 hours prior to departure for international flights.
All PAL aircraft are equipped with high-technology systems that continuously infuse fresh air across the cabin as well as HEPA filters that trap viruses, bacteria and other contaminants with 99.99% efficiency. The air flow system creates a cleaner environment that is safer than most enclosed public spaces and comparable to hospital operating rooms.
