GENERAL MANAGER
GOTOVATE BURUNDI SAFARIS is a subsidiary member of Gotovate Africa Safaris Group a re-known continental award winning one-stop solution Travel Management company based in Nairobi.
Responsibilities of General Manager (Other tasks may be assigned)
• Managing budgets, meeting sales targets and maximising profits
• Implementing change throughout the company to elevate their efficiency and industry competitiveness
• Aligning the company's business goals with their strategic and innovative thinking processes
• Meeting stakeholders to determine which areas need more growth and innovation
• Identifying lucrative enterprise opportunities and innovative trends within the market
• Advising management and stakeholders about future innovation objectives and goals
• Determining each client's requirements, including destinations, length of stay, and transit time.
• Maintain positive and cooperative relationships and work closely with hospitality industry players and establish solid relationships with potential partners from travel service suppliers and providers, including but not limited to accommodation chains/properties, air carriers, transportation companies, event and activity planners, tour operators, etc.
• Build new relationships with potential clients from travel agents, online communities, media, corporate segment, and public relations channels
• Develop sales materials, conduct personal marketing and visits to potential clients.
• Work as an effective cross-functional partner with various internal and external stakeholders including digital operation, brand marketing, editorial, team, etc.
• Participate in relevant trade shows, industry meetings, and organize, execute roadshows.
• Leads creative briefing sessions, material development and overall promotional presence for assigned business units.
• Create and package integrated proposals, including custom creative and branded programs
• Maintain high level of Customer Relationship Management
• Selecting the most appropriate transport based on the available finances, requisite departure and arrival times, and preferred duration of transit.
• marketing holidays to clients via travel agents, websites, brochures and television advertising

• Communications; to convey their opinions and suggestions with clarity and professionalism.
• Interpersonal; to form meaningful connections with colleagues, making them more receptive to the innovation manager's recommendations and changes.
• Creative thinking: develop new ideas to reshape the company's current innovation practices
• Degree in Business administration or Diploma in Hospitality Tourism
• Demonstrable experience with expertise in local and international travel arrangements.
• Top-notch interpersonal skills, including communication, respect, and empathy.
