I am proud to have contributed to the establishment of the Chalalan Ecolodge. From the construction of the lodge (1997) and the training of women and young men from the community of San Jose de Uchupiamonas, to positioning the Lodge in the market. It has been a rewarding journey. I continue to support this lodge and its mission.

During the second week of November 2023, I made a follow-up visit, to see with my own eyes the result of the dedicated work of the Chalalan team that I have been mentalizing, guiding and supervising, as the main objective was to recover Chalalan Ecolodge that was seriously affected by the covid-19 pandemic and other issues. I am happy to say that the facilities have been renovated, service was impeccable, and the team was motivated to continue working in tourism as an economic alternative and to help protect biodiversity.

America Tours Bolivia participó en la Presentación y Simposio de la ESTRATEGIA DE AVITURISMO CORREDOR MADIDI-PILON LAJAS -COTAPATA. Estuvimos representados por David G. Ricalde, ornitólogo, biólogo de la conservación y gerente de marketing de nuestra empresa, quien aportó sobre experiencias y oportunidades para el desarrollo de la ruta. Evento organizado por la Asociación Civil Armonia/ Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund, este 26 Septiembre 2022.

We participated in the Bird Tourism Presentation and Symposia for the Madidi-Pilon Lajas-Cotapata Corridor, represented by David G. Ricalde, ornithologist, conservation biologist, and our marketing manager who showed experiences and opportunities for the development of this birding route. This event was organized by Asociacion Civil Armonia/ Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund on Sept 26, 2022.

TRAVELLING THE BEST OF BOLIVIA AND PERU
In October 2015, we had the pleasure to organize and take Rita Graf and Christian Schneider on a private 3-day trip to see the amazing Uyuni Salt Flat and Eduardo Avaroa Andean Fauna Reserve, in Bolivia. They enjoyed the spectacular sceneries of Uyuni Salt Flats, colorful lagoons, geysers, volcanos and deserts with surreal views. About 2 years later, in 2017, they travel with us again. This time they had a 4-day experience visiting Cusco the capital of the Inca Empire, the unique Machu Picchu and the beautiful Sacred Valley of the Incas.
These days Christian is retired. All his life he wanted to spend more time painting and taking photographs. Now that he has the time, he is painting places that he has travelled to.
