I am proud to have contributed to the establishment of the Chalalan Ecolodge. From the construction of the lodge (1997) and the training of women and young men from the community of San Jose de Uchupiamonas, to positioning the Lodge in the market. It has been a rewarding journey. I continue to support this lodge and its mission.
Estoy orgullosa de haber contribuido al establecimiento del Albergue Chalalan, desde su inicio (1997) entrenando a mujeres y jovenes de la comunidad de San Jose de Uchupiamonas, posicionando el Albergue en el mercado. Ha sido una experiencia satisfactoria. A la fecha continuo apoyando al Albergue Chalalan en su misión.

During the second week of November 2023, I made a follow-up visit, to see with my own eyes the result of the dedicated work of the Chalalan team that I have been mentalizing, guiding and supervising, as the main objective was to recover Chalalan Ecolodge that was seriously affected by the covid-19 pandemic and other issues. I am happy to say that the facilities have been renovated, service was impeccable, and the team was motivated to continue working in tourism as an economic alternative and to help protect biodiversity.
