I cannot fathom the stupidity of the Bolivian Authorities. Bolivia just lost 12 million hectares of forests and now wants to open a new highway though the heart of the Chiquitania.

I guess cows, soya and quick money is more important than the future 🤮🤬

Jaguars face incredible threats in Bolivia , this year we lost 12 million hectares of forests. Jaguars are Basically killed on 99 percent of Cattle Farms in Bolivia and now they are targeted by Chinese Nationals for their teeth and body parts.

3 of our favorite species. Did you know that Bolivia is one of the few countries on the planet where you can see all 3 of the Peccary species.

The Solitary or Chaco Peccary is sadly endangered and there are less than 3000 in the wild.
Threats include overhunting and the conversion of the Gran Chaco for cattle farming and Soya Farms..
