Feeling so lucky that my work let’s me stay in these precious places! Thank you and for providing such a beautiful experience. The gorgeous views, amazing staff with smiles always and incredible grounds made this stay so peaceful and calming! This hotel is on a 30 acre coffee farm with 14 rooms and a restaurant that overlooks the city of San José! So authentic to Costa Rica and perfect place to stay near the airport! UNPLUG!!! In Costa Rica!!!! The Osa Peninsula (in my opinion) is one of the most beautiful places in the world! Abundant wildlife surrounds you, totally remote, and the best of all-most of the beaches (our favorite Matapalo) has zero electricity. This solar-powered heaven is the best place to unwind, connect to nature and completely disconnect. When’s the last time you haven’t had your phone for a whole day? Not gonna lie, it was uncomfortable at times but such a great experience! Come Visit! @ Playa Matapalo

The Shana by the Beach Hotel is such a beautiful place to stay for all types of visitors. STARBUCKS in Costa Rica!!!
Ok, so when you move here you are allowed the experience of simplicity, minimizing, and not having the convenience and luxury that you are used to. This is only positive for our family and one of the reasons we moved here!
But I LOVE me some Starbucks!!!

We visited Starbucks ONLY Coffee Farm in the beautiful Hacienda Alscacia with such beautiful surroundings. This is a perfect stop on your way to the volcano for some delicious coffee and snacks!

Big changes for us as we decided to move from the beautiful and majestic Ojochal jungle-back to the beach at the Hermosa Beach Bungalows. Our dadda surfer is so happy surfing everyday, and watching the munchkins play on the beach all day everyday is like a dream come true!!! Being mobile and working from home never felt better-FREEDOM!!!!

We visited the Peace Lodge this week and it was jaw dropping incredible!

The rooms are like nothing we had ever seen before; a jungle waterfall bathroom surrounding by live plants and a giant rock whirlpool bath jet bathtub in the middle of it all.

A stone fireplace for the crisp cool mountain air.

A giant canopy King Sized bed perfect for snuggling in the middle of the mountains.

On the balcony: hummingbird visitors, another whirlpool bath jet bath tub, a hammock with a pull string and beautiful mountain views.

Connected to the La Paz Waterfall Gardens, where you can see the local animals and visit beautiful waterfalls
