My name is Gilmar Tavaras, I am a native guide 28 years old, Born and raised in the jungle as such I have led many excursions into the jungles of the Amazon Rain Forest. I am quite familiar with the wild life and plants of the region. I can speak English which is important when you are a guide as the many people that come to visit can’t speak the national language of Brazil, Portuguese.

Last year I decided to open my own Jungle Guide Service and to offer it to tourists coming to Manaus. My many abilities to live in the jungle will make your visit here more enjoyable and safe. On my tours you will visit the region and see it as never seen before by the casual traveler. We will travel deep into the jungle exploring nature as we go into regions seen only by few on this planet. We will camp in the jungle eating fish we have caught and communing with nature. Join with me and visit one of the great natural resources of this planet. Visit with native tribes watch a native ritual dance, Swim with the pink river dolphins, see the animals in their native habitat there is a lot to see and explore.
