Morrinho Favela Tour It was born of small experiences realized by the young founders of the Project Morrinho within the Favela Pereira da Silva, better known as: Favela do Pereirão. Through a partnership with Cama & Café, Caixa Economica's Programa Pnud, Pró Social and in partnership with other bodies related to tourism and lodging. The artists of Morrinho implanted the idea in their environment so that it was totally sustainable and turned to the benefits of the Artwork and the favela establishments where it all began !! . Today Morrinho Favela Tour: works as a strong strand of the Morrinho Project where the main focus is social and cultural sustainability, artistic and touristic recognition and revolutionary social transformation of the Favela do Pereirão

The Morrinho Favela Tour lets you explore the Favela Pereira da Silva, or "Pereirao", an ideally situated favela in Rio, for it has one entrance from the bohemian and hilly Santa Teresa, and one from downtown Laranjeiras. Its views are picture postcard perfect, and its relatively small size lets you explore lots of details in a few hours - interesting points of view, the social project morrinho, various hostels, bars, restaurants, and other social initiatives by the inhabitants of this tranquil favela!
