Progressing the forwards 🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊

Today was a game changer. The story:
First time windsurfing in 2011 starting to want to loop in 2015. It took me months to do a proper try with the right attitude after a lesson with . But continued to start rotation still being with the fin "in" the wave, preventing a rotation. I believed "better not too high than over rotating". At the time I did not realize I had created a fear of hight over time. Last year I found that this fear was the reason I did no proper take offs for backies and never would do "delayed" or stalled forwards. So I went to hipnose. I feel I can do it now, at least initiating the technical progress to it.
Today I saw that footage my wife made and got proud as s**t. It's not the level or any other crazy dudes height. But high enough to get stoked on it. Aaaaand wanting more 🔥😎🔥

Magic Moment 1.0 🌠
This is why: (long story, sorry)
I love to teach windsurfing to motivated students. It's a passion. Enea is the son of a couple we hosted in Brazil. His parents wanted me to help him learn to play windsurf a bit better. His dad is a passionate windsurfer as well. We started off by beachstart, then harness and then first footstep into planning and back footstep. This kid was learning so incredibly fast that I had a blast coaching him. The last scheduled lesson we went "all in". I set the goal of him being able to get and keep planning in both footstraps. I wanted it for him and was sure he can pull it off. And he freaking did! Screaming, being exited we both flew over the water!
And then the real magic went down. I saw the ramp, I saw him upwind getting planning and decided to loop right next to him.
After the session he asked me super exited: "Rino, was that a forward loop? Soooo cool, I want that too!"
And that was the best message I could pass on to that young ripper: Be exited!
I had so many moments when I looked up to more advanced sailors being stoked about what's possible in our exiting sport. And now I could give that back to someone. Blessed moments...

Oh yeah! Es wird passieren! Die New School Windsurfing Clinic mit Balz Müller und Pierre Yves Mottier wird in Gostoso stattfinden! mb-boards wird zusammen mit uns von gosurfbrazil.com dieses grandiose Event organisieren. Der ClubeKauliSeadi wird uns bei der Infdrastruktur vor ort behilflich sein.
Wir sind mega froh, dass wir unser geliebtes Gostoso auch auf diese Weise "pushen" können.

Also, geht auf die Seite von mb-boards und nehmt an der Clinic teil, auch und gerade wenn ihr sowieso schon vor Ort seid!

Going to Brazil is ridiculously cheap right now! TAP is flying you straight to Natal from where we will pick you up. Long ride like going to Jeri? Nope. Just 1.5 hours asphalt road straight into paradise! Check them out, tell your boss you`re gone for a few weeks and let us plan your perfect trip to Sao Miguel do Gostoso!

Da sind wir wieder! :)
Lange haben wir nichts von uns hören lassen. Die letzte Saison in Gostoso war sehr ereignisreich und spannend!
Wir haben Gäste empfangen, betreut, geschult, sie in unserer GorillaBar bewirtet und eine aufregende Zeit auf dem Wasser verbracht.
Im Hintergrund haben wir eine neue website gebaut, um noch viel mehr Wassersportlern dieses schöne Paradies nahzubringen! Ein weiterer, wichtiger Schritt ist gestern abgeschlossen und wir präsentieren einen, ehrlichen, frischen Spotguide aus Sao Miguel do Gostoso.

"THE BRAIN CINEMA" is online to please everyone with great windsurf action in motion!
This project was planned a long time and is finally edited now!
You will be taken to a journey to the finest windsurf locations around our second home Sao Miguel do Gostoso. Let yourself go and see Galinhos on fire, passing by in Praia do Marco and then have a final show in Sao Miguel do Gostoso. This 8 min long clip is ment to tell a story, passing by at different spots!
I highly want to thank everyone who has participated in this video. Especially Alf Hesse for the technical realisation of this project and for the pacience behind the camera.
We gained soo much more footage to make another 10 clips. I could not put everything into this project even though we got so many more funny and great scenes.
I spent sooo many hours sourcing the footage, learning to use adobe premiere pro, handling so many problems due the lack of know how with the programm to finally being proud of the outcome. The quality of it increases during the video as well.
So, what now? Before clicking on the link below to see this peace of art you better suite yourself with snacks and beer. It is only 8 minuttues long, but you might wanna see it another time to discover some more details :)
