What’s the story behind the #BrasilBrand - Brasil spelled with an S?
Brasil is a diverse and multicultural country combining many forms, ecosystems, rhythms, and colors. It is the home of diverse, friendly, and hospitable people. The brand aims to share the image of a country that is integrated with current scenarios and aware of new ways to foster conservation and sustainability.
The layers of curvilinear shapes and colors that make up the Brand were chosen through interviews with tourists, workers involved with hospitality and tourism, and other players in the industry, who pointed out the elements that most reflected a collective image of Brasil. Each of the colors refers to something present in the country.
The curves and transparent qualities present in the piece were inspired by Brazilian landscapes and hospitality, symbolizing cultural overlap. According to the designer Kiko Farkas, these forms can be translated as a hug.
Brasil, spelled with an S, is proud of its history and ready to keep on creating new experiences and solutions for the world.

🔰 Banho de São João in Corumbá For over 150 years, every night of June 23, residents and visitors of Corumbá, in Mato Grosso do Sul, gather on the banks of the Paraguay River for a unique tradition in the country: the Banho de São João (meaning Saint John’s Bath). The biggest June festivity in Mato Grosso do Sul is also the most distinctive and is recognized as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Brazil. The Banho de São João dates back to the origins of the foundation of Corumbá and makes a syncretism between Arab traditions, African culture and Christian religiosity. The celebrations last about a week. After holding the novenas (prayers) in their homes, the “festeiros” (revelers) gather to go down the Porto Geral slope that leads to the Paraguay River. By the river, dozens of sacred images are bathed. The festivities also feature a lot of music, with emphasis on the traditional viola de cocho, fireworks and the quadrilha typical dances. @amolarexperience @visitmsoficial #purebrasil #matogrossodosul #serradoamolar #pantanal

Maned wolves in Pousada Trijunção
🐺 How cute is the maned wolf Nhorinhá with her cub?
Nhorinhá, a wolf monitored by the teams of Onçafari Onçafari and Pousada Trijunção Pousada Trijunção since 2018, had three cubs recently. She has hidden two of them for a few weeks until the researchers and cameras finally found them!
When visiting Pousada Trijunção, travelers have the opportunity to learn more about the amazing project developed by Onçafari to study and protect the maned wolf, which is an endangered species and the icon of the Brazilian savanna. Spotting a maned wolf is definitely a great and unique adventure!

Península de Maraú
Maraú Peninsula is the perfect getaway for travelers looking for remote beaches, peace, and great food. This unique beach resort located in the south coast of Bahia is the last stop in our Pure Bahia itinerary suggestion.

🌱🦦 Earlier this year, Pure Brasil has launched a campaign to raise awareness about the importance of responsible tourism to the Pantanal. We genuinely believe that by visiting the Pantanal, travelers can feel its magic and engage with its preservation.
Working with international travelers in Brazil for years, we can say that one of the most fascinating moments in a trip across the country is a jaguar encounter. It is impossible to travel to Pantanal and return without some transformation.
In 2020 the Pantanal has suffered with huge fires and the absence of tourism due to the pandemic. Losses were inevitable, but with huge regeneration potential, the Pantanal is alive!
Our Pure Wildlife adventure is an invitation for travelers to become supporters of this vast and relevant area.

🐺 How cute are these maned wolves caught on camera trap by Associação Onçafari ?
Onçafari is an organization that works to conserve the Brazilian wildlife and natural habitats and contributes for socio-economic development of our country through ecotourism.
Besides the maned wolf, the initiative protects jaguars, pumas, capybaras, the black howler and diverse other species living in the Pantanal, Cerrado, Amazon and in the Atlantic Rainforest.
