- OLD DOWNTOWN tour (historic center): in Portuguese: on Saturdays, at 10h30am in English: on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, at 11h00am
Meeting Point: República Square, next to the Tourist Information Center (subway station

: República) - it lasts 3h30min (with a 20min. break).

- VILA MADALENA tour (local side): in Portuguese: on Sundays, at 10h30am in English: on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, at 11h00am
Meeting Point: in front of Fradique Coutinho subway station (Yellow line), on the corner of Pinheiros St. with Fradique Coutinho St. - it lasts 2h.

- PAULISTA AVE tour (cultural heart): in Portuguese: on Sundays, at 3h00pm in English: on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, at 3h30pm
Meeting Point: on the corner of Paulista Ave with Augusta St. (Jardins side), in front of Banco do Brasil (subway station: Consolação) - it lasts 2h30min. Small Groups! Book online in advance to save your place. Collaborative Economy: tips-based only!

🇧🇷 A FIESP já possuiu diversas sedes desde a sua fundação, mas o prédio atual é, sem sombra de dúvidas, o mais marcante nesta trajetória. Inaugurado em 1979, o edifício foi projetado para se destacar em meio às outras construções na Avenida Paulista. Seu formato de pirâmide o torna facilmente reconhecível pela estética, mas para além disso, este formato proporciona maior privacidade à diretoria, localizada nos últimos andares, além de concentrar o fluxo maior de pessoas nos primeiros andares, desafogando os elevadores. Alcançando 92 metros de altura, com seus 16 andares, o edifício virou uma atração da Avenida Paulista pela tela metálica afixada na fachada, que cria efeitos eletrônicos no prédio, muitas vezes, relacionado às exposições que são apresentadas no térreo do edifício. Um clássico paulistano, que está sempre de cara nova
🇬🇧 FIESP has had several headquarters since its founding, but the current building is, without a doubt, the most notable in its history. Opened in 1979, the building was designed to stand out among the other buildings on Paulista Avenue. Its pyramid shape makes it easily recognizable due to its aesthetics, but in addition, this shape provides greater privacy for the board of directors, located on the top floors, in addition to concentrating the greater flow of people on the first floors, relieving the pressure on the elevators. Reaching 92 meters in height, with its 16 floors, the building has become an attraction on Paulista Avenue due to the metal screen attached to the façade, which creates electronic effects in the building, often related to the exhibitions that are presented on the ground floor of the building. A classic São Paulo landmark that always has a new look.

🇧🇷 Foi ao redor de um colégio que, em 25/01/1554, surgiu um vilarejo, inicialmente nomeado como Vila de Piratininga de São Paulo. O colégio criado pelos jesuítas Manoel da Nóbrega e Anchieta, virou local de nascimento de São Paulo, no que hoje é conhecido como centro histórico. Ao seu redor, a cidade cresceu, principalmente após o século XIX, como resultado da economia cafeeira, com muito desenvolvimento para a capital paulista. Hoje, o local onde a cidade nasceu é rodeado de prédios de diversas épocas, com vários estilos arquitetônicos, representando a diversidade da cidade que cresceu e se expandiu com grande energia, f**ando até conhecida como a cidade que nunca dorme. Com todos os contrastes e diferenças, São Paulo segue como uma cidade vibrante, de oportunidades e desafios, consagrando-se como uma das cidades mais importantes da América do Sul. Que a cada passo que dermos adiante, seja baseado nos erros e acertos da nossa história, para construírmos a São Paulo que todos merecem!
🇬🇧 It was around a school that, on January 25, 1554, a village emerged, initially named Vila de Piratininga de São Paulo. The school, created by the Jesuits Manoel da Nóbrega and Anchieta, became the birthplace of São Paulo, in what is now known as the historic center. Around it, the city grew, mainly after the 19th century, as a result of the coffee economy, with great development for the capital of São Paulo. Today, the place where the city was born is surrounded by buildings from different eras, with various architectural styles, representing the diversity of the city that grew and expanded with great energy, even becoming known as the city that never sleeps. Despite all the contrasts and differences, São Paulo remains a vibrant city, full of opportunities and challenges, establishing itself as one of the most important cities in South America. May each step we take forward be based on the mistakes and successes of our history, to build the São Paulo that everyone deserves!

🇧🇷 Força, beleza e ancestralidade se encontram nos trabalhos da artista mineira Criola. Formada em design de moda, Criola atua desde 2012. Em suas produções, o grafismo está sempre presente, conectando-se às raízes afro-brasileiras. O grafismo enaltece suas personagens, mulheres negras, que transmitem uma mensagem de força e beleza, envoltas por cores fortes e vibrantes, principalmente o rosa. Sua arte é resultado do desejo da artista de se reconectar com a sua ancestralidade, pois somente voltando os olhos para as questões do passado, que construímos o futuro que sonhamos. Além da arte nas ruas, Criola também desenha coleções de moda, como foi o caso do uniforme da equipe brasileira de skate, que disputou os Jogos Olímpicos de 2024, em Paris, na França.
🇬🇧 Strength, beauty and ancestry come together in the work of artist Criola from Minas Gerais. A graduate in fashion design, Criola has been working since 2012. Graphics are always present in her productions, connecting her to her Afro-Brazilian roots. The graphics enhance her characters, black women, who convey a message of strength and beauty, surrounded by strong and vibrant colors, especially pink. Her art is the result of the artist’s desire to reconnect with her ancestry, because only by looking back at issues from the past can we build the future we dream of. In addition to street art, Criola also designs fashion collections, such as the uniform for the Brazilian skateboarding team that competed in the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France.

We're the first Free Walking Tour in Brazil and São Paulo!

The SP Free Walking Tour is a small Brazilian company, local business, that was founded in january of 2011, in São Paulo, Brazil, with the purpose to offer walking tours (through the Sustainable Tourism) that gives a historic, touristic, cultural and local overview of the city, in a different, informative, healthy and fun way - for backpackers and opened-mind travelers. The tours were opened to the public in the beginning of 2012, and nowadays more than 95,000 travelers have joined the SP Free Walking Tour!

We do our best to do the best walking tour in town!

Our company is authorized to work with Free Walking Tours in São Paulo, having the necessary documents, following all the regulations and laws of the Brazilian Constitution, as also the copyrights and namerights of the brand 'São Paulo Free Walking Tour' in Brazil. In all of our tours, there is an official licensed tour-guide, to ensure the quality and professionalism of the experience around the city, as also a recommendation of the Tourism Department of the Brazilian Government. And mainly, to respect the local community and to value the local workers, supporting the local economy.

We love doing what we do!

Our staff is made by qualified local professionals, who love the brazilian history and culture, and love meeting new people, being helpful and friendly to show the city to everyone. Everybody speaks Portuguese and English, and each one has the best qualif**ation and skills in order to offer this service to you.

On Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays

at 11h30am (it lasts 3h30min, with a 20min. break in a local place)

Meeting Point: República Square, next to the Tourist Information Center (subway station: República)

. PAULISTA AVE tour (cultural heart):

On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays,

at 3h30pm (it lasts 2h30min, with a 15min. break in a local place)

Meeting Point: on the corner of Paulista Ave with Augusta St. (Jardins side), in front of Banco do Brasil (subway station: Consolação)

. VILA MADALENA tour (local side, with graffities):

On Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays,

at 11h00am (it lasts 3h00min., with a 15min. break in a local place)

Meeting Point: in front of Fradique Coutinho subway station (Yellow line), on the corner of Pinheiros St. with Fradique Coutinho St.

NO BOOKING! Just show up at the meeting point 15 minutes before! Tours in English. Tips-based only!
