A onça conhecida como Patrícia, atualmente a maior matriarca da região, estava tomando seu banho de sol, quando uma Ariranha aparece na sua frente... e chama sua atenção. As onças sabem bem que não devem enfrentar um grupo de 7 Ariranhas, como vemos no vídeo, ela "desiste" do ataque!

Another incredible day in the Pantanal. The Jaguar Patricia, currently the largest matriarch in the region, was taking her sunbath, when a giant otter appears in front of her... and catches her attention.

The jaguars know well that they shouldn't face a family group of 7 Otters, as we see in the video, they "give up" the attack!

O Gavião-Belo (Busarellus nigricollis) é uma das aves de rapina mais comuns de no Pantanal.

Seu nome científico significa busarellus = diminutivo do francês buse = urubu; e do (latim) niger = preto; e collis, collum = pescoço, colo - Pequeno urubu com pescoço preto.

Sua alimentação é insetos, caramujos e principalmente peixes.
Conseguimos ver nesse vídeo ele “caçando” um peixe, segurando-os com os pés, graças aos dedos serrilhados e às unhas compridas e curvas.

The Black- collared Hawk (Busarellus nigricollis) is one of the most common birds of prey in the Pantanal.

Its scientific name means busarellus = diminutive of the French buse = vulture; and (Latin) niger = black; and collis, collum = neck, neck - Small vulture with black neck.

Their food is insects, snails and mainly fish.
In this video we can see him “hunting” a fish, holding them with his feet, thanks to his serrated fingers and long, curved nails.

Cachoeira 3 Barras - pertence ao município de Conceição de Mato Dentro, aproximadamente 30 km do distrito da Serra do Cipó.
Localizada próximo ao Povoado de Três Barras, daí a origem do nome, essa cachoeira tem altura aproximada de 13m. Incrustada num paredão de 40m de extensão, forma um grande poço, propício a mergulhos, evitando-se os blocos de pedras existentes em suas bordas.

Weekend in the surrounding of Serra do Cipó!

Cachoeira 3 Barras - belongs to the municipality of Conceição de Mato Dentro, approximately 30 km from the district of Serra do Cipó.
Located near the the small village of Três Barras, hence the origin of the name, this waterfall has a height of approximately 13m. Embedded in a wall of 40m in length, it forms a large well, suitable for dives, avoiding the blocks of stones existing on its edges.
