Bahamas Swordfish fishery is a viable resource that many local fishermen have not yet tapped into. They migrate through the Bahamas every year and the law states that commercial fishing for them is allowed for citizens. However, Foreign Sportsfishing allows for catch and release only. We were very lucky to land this 110 pounder as the line was merely noosed around it's fin.

132.4 pound Escolar, (White Tuna). These fish are so majestic to see coming out of the abyss. They are excellent sashimi but don't eat too much!

My personal biggest Mutton Snapper. I must have had a good luck charm on board.
One of the best uses of the sling is the ability to shoot free shafts long range at Muttons. Shot this guy 15 ft away. Soon as you hit them, they run straight for the nearest hole to hide. That's when I was able to track him down and make the kill shot!

I asked .a.busch if he had any target goals this week to spear, he said... "I want to spear a big Hogfish" ..I said no problem... spotted this big Hog in 40 ft of water with sharks around.
