Another treasure from North End Long Island left us on this earth. Mr Willie! I have known him since I was a little girl. He came to my wedding, I remember him dressed to the nine’s and presented me with a gift with a handwritten note. I have cherished it. I just took these photos of him a few weeks ago. I am so happy, that I stopped and had a nice chat with him. I have to thank him also giving me some knowledge on our Bahamian bush teas. I asked him if I could take his photo, he said of course!🥰 Rest in Peace Mr Willie! My condolences to the family. 🌸 you will be missed.😢

I first learnt about our Bahamian indigenous natural medicine plants….Bush Tea when I was a little girl girl by these two beautiful North End Long Island Bahamas ladies. I cherish the memories with them, and thank them everyday for the knowledge that they past on to me. My Passion for our Bahamian teas is deep rooted in my soul. I miss these two Gems deeply.
