Each boat is powered by twin 440s HP turbo-charged diesel engines and can reach speeds of up to 45mph. For your comfort all seats are forward-facing and there are also bathrooms on board. The boat departs from Paradise Island Ferry terminal at 9am. The boat ride is 1hour and 15minutes. When you arrive at the Cay there will be a breakfast spread of tea, coffee, donuts, muffins and a variety of frui
ts. Just off our island there is a perfect isolated sand-bar just right for collecting sand dollars. Below the water is just as idyllic as above. There is forty-five minutes of snorkeling of the shallow coral reefs teaming with colorful tropical fish. Encounter gentle stingrays, groupers and conch in their incredible natural environment. You may even see migrating turtles and dolphins. Nestled under tropical foliage and shaded by palm-thatched roofs is a fabulous array of split level dining decks where you can savor authentic Bahamian cuisine. Lunch includes smothered grouper, barbeque chicken, beets, corn, three beans, pasta salad, green salad and bread roll. After lunch, meet and feed the sharks. Many different species of sharks, barracudas and stingrays are present in the waters around Saddleback Cay and there is an array of beautiful tropical fish just waiting to be fed! After a few hours on the beach, enjoying the warm beautiful water, as the sun begins to set and you make your way back to Paradise Island, we visit Leaf Cay, another island in the breathtaking beautiful Exuma cays. Leaf Cay is home to dozens of friendly Iguanas just waiting to meet you and to be fed.
