A while back I was sitting in a meeting with a consultant who was reviewing some work I had done. The consultant said to me, “Sherika your work is excellent, you are doing a great job but no one knows it.” I was challenged by his comment. I had to do deep introspection.

He was right, I was hiding myself.

For many years I was rejected for being gifted and for being different, I was told I was extra lol (I really am).

Also, I buried my dreams and ideas because other women always thought I was competing with them.

Additionally, I was told men can’t handle all of that it was too much. Too strong!

Lastly, I was made to believe that showcasing my gifts and talents were me showing off.

Simply put I was burying myself.

After that experience, I reconciled that I had something valuable that God needed and you needed. I couldn’t bury my gifts.

It's All About Love

God's primary motivation for everything He does on earth for mankind, is His love. God created you because you are an expression of His love. He has wired you and designed you with so many distinct and unique attributes simply because He loves you and He wants to use what He has placed in you to express the depth of His love for others through you.
Everything God entrusts you to, is because God wants to express and demonstrate and model His love to those He has connected you to. Every assignment in ministry, on your job, business, family, marriage is because God has chosen you to be the channel of His love to His people. What makes you so valuable to God and mankind is when you choose to be a pure and matured reflection of His love to those He has placed in your life. The more God can trust you to be an authentic and sincere image of His love, the more valuable you are in His hands and to those He has assigned you to.

Today I challenge you to affirm your worth by simply being a model of God's love to all that you meet and are connected to simply because that is one of God's primary reasons for creating you.

God Wants More For You, Don't Settle!

Lack of fulfillment in your life is often a result of being out of alignment with Gods order, plan, purpose and design for your life. When you are feeling unfulfilled it may because you are living your life way below God's standards for you. A life lived below God's standard, blueprint and design for you will always have you crying out for more. You will have this feeling that something is missing because it is heavens way to call you to the more that God has promised to you. Oftentimes when you are desiring something greater for your life, it is because the Spirit of God within You is drawing and quickening you towards that thing because God more than anyone else wants you to possess it because He wants you to reflect Him in that particular area.

If you are in a season where you are being challenged for more in a particular area of your life, it is because God is calling you out of your comfort zone and into a life of greater growth, increase and maturity because He wants you to have the life that He has promised to you. Today God wants you to know that you are worth so much than the life you have been settling for, whether it is spiritually, emotionally, relationally, physically, financially. He has a greater path prepared for you and He wants you to have it. The more that you are desiring, God wants for you because He created you to have it. Now is your time for you to walk hand in hand with God for Him to give it to you. Go after more, you are worth it!

You are an answer to someone's prayer!

Whenever God wants to respond to a petition from one of His children in prayer, He responds through a person. God doesn't physically come to the earth and He uses people to be a source of provision to each other's needs.

You are a solution to somebody. God has designed you to meet someone's needs and to be an answer to someone's prayer. There is someone who has been crying out to God and He is making you the answer to them in some way.

God has uniquely wired you, gifted you, designed you to be an expression of Himself to someone. While you may not be an answer to everyone's prayer, He has specifically placed His hands upon you to be exactly what someone needs. Whether it be a relationship, a workplace, a community or a nation. God has chosen you to be the answer.

Today I remind you that there is someone or somewhere who is in need of everything that God has placed in you and what He has distinctly fashioned you with. May you never take yourself for granted again because while some may not need you or embrace you, you have been authentically crafted for someone and somewhere. You are the answer to their prayer!

My prayer for you today is that you will have a revelation of those God has assigned you to be an answer to and those who need what God has placed in you. Also, may those who are in need of all that God has placed in you eyes and heart be opened and may they acknowledge you as the answer to their prayers.
