Closing in on Orca territory.
We are ready 😎💪
As you can see. The conditions have deteriorated to the point we had to take our foul weather gear off. 🤣
By this time tomorrow, we should be in the Med.

Aaaaannnddd, we are off again.
This time Horta to France. Same distance as the first half of the trip. Only not such great weather. Departed Horta at 5am this morning.
Trying to get a head start on incoming storm from the west. Watch this post for updates.

It’s getting cold out here folks. With the 20kn of apparent wind on the nose, and 16 degrees Celsius, it’s getting harder and harder to stay warm for our 4 hour watches. On top of that, we are currently located under a huge line of convection that has water spouts and heavy rain inside its deep clouds. This far, we have managed to dodge everything keeping our cold feet from getting wet but I’m not sure if we will be able to avoid that for too long.
ETA into Horta in around 14:30 tomorrow.
The supply of dolphins seems endless, 3 leave, 3 more arrive from another direction. It’s almost like they have come to es**rt us.

I hope everyone I know had a wonderful Christmas and an even better Boxing Day.
We are anchored in one of my favorite anchorages in the British Virgin Islands. Little Harbor in Peter island.
It hasn’t changed a bit in the 30 years that I have been coming here.

Follow along as we cruise the Caribbean, Bahamas and then over to the central and Southern Med with Che.
We will be revisiting a lot of our old stomping grounds. Places like Amalfi, Sicily, Croatia, the Greek Islands and finally One of our Favourites, Turkey 😁.
Starting here, I’m going to bring you all a taste of life onboard. Merry Christmas everyone.

Seasons over. Our arrival back in Florida wasn’t as sunny as we had hoped but now Pegasus is tucked away in her summer condo and waiting for new decks.
Thanks for following us all year and we will be back next year to do it all again.

About Pegasus and her Crew

Pegasus is a unique yacht with the ability to run fast and navigate and anchor in very shallow water. This makes her especially ideal for the Bahamian waters where she is based year round. Her experienced crew have been working aboard charter yachts since 1995 and are considered highly professional in the industry. They will deliver you a week filled with fun, adventure and a dining experience you will never forget.

Pegasus will take you to the most remote anchorages in the Bahamas, thanks to her incredible 4ft draft. with a top speed of 28.5 knots she will enable you to see more of the beautiful Islands. Previous guests have described the boat as “ more like a house than a boat”.

Guest review : March 2018

Heavenly blissful perfection from all points of view. Our appreciation of everything surpassed an already very high expectation plateau (from last year).
