The festival serves as a homage to Guru Rinpoche, also known as Padmasambhava, the revered saint who introduced Buddhism to Bhutan.Locals don their finest traditional attire, with men wearing gho (robes) and women adorned in kira (colorful wrap-around dresses), adding to the festival's visual splendor. • Visit to Chhimi Lhakhang, the temple of fertility.
• Visit to the most beautiful Dzong in Bhutan - Punakha Dzong
• Walk around the longest suspension bridge in Bhutan - Puankha Suspension bridge.
• Lunch at Punakha and drive back to Thimphu.
• Overnight stay in Thimphu.
Day 5: Thimphu to Paro
• Drive back to Paro and embark on a hike to the iconic Taktsang Monastery (Tiger's Nest), perched on a cliff.
• Enjoy breathtaking views and delve into the spiritual aura of this sacred site.
