Our Heartfelt Congratulations to our King and Queen on becoming new parents to our second Prince. We pray for the good health of both Queen mother and the baby prince.

Our little Prince has arrived this spring like a ray of hope.

Tashi Delek to all Bhutanese whose hearts are filled with brightness, and to our King, Queen, and very proud big brother, Gyalsey Jigme Namgyel la.

Knowing that the due date was so close, it is even more gratifying that His Majesty dedicated so much time to work to safeguard the people of Bhutan against COVID-19 outbreak.

Not only that, even with all this to occupy His mind, HM still had time to remember all those affected by the situation.

Australian volunteers in Bhutan who had to rush back to their country, with a lot of stress, received loving care packages as a gesture of affection and appreciation from HM. As they were leaving, they were very much moved by this gesture.

Not only did HM personally ensure the care of the American tourist who was Bhutan's 1st COVID-19 case in Bhutan, but also reminded the people to treat him with compassion, as he is someone who has come to Bhutan out of love for the country. This was a reminder to Bhutanese to treat all visitors with love and gratitude for their affection for our country, no matter the situation at hand.

As Their Majesties announced the happy news, They also took time to remind people to be safe and vigilant, and to convey prayers for the entire world affected by the pandemic.

We are forever thankful for the love and compassion of our King and Queen, which remains unwavering at all times and any circumstances.

Please join in offering prayers for the wellbeing of Her Majesty and our newly born Prince, for Bhutanese, and all sentient beings of the world.
