:- Bhutan Gate is going to open from 23rd September for tourists. A new Entry Gate (Pedestrian Terminal) has been built in Phuentsholing. Tourist must complete their online pre-registration at bms.doi.gov.bt and carry voter card or passport. Minors (below 18yrs) need to carry theit birth certificate.

Bhutan's first win

Bhutan's national women's football team humbled Sri Lanka 5-0 in the ongoing SAFF Women's Championship 2022 at the Dasharath Stadium in Nepal today.

This is Bhutan's first victory.

Namgay Dema scored a goal in the first half. A brace by Deki Lhazom and a goal each from Tshering Lhaden and Galey Wangmo in the second half sealed the game 5-0.

A hearty meal from the kitchens of Bhutan

This is a photograph of traditional Bhutanese cuisine from the remote Ramjar gewog of Trashi Yangtse. The locally sourced hearty meal set includes steamed rice mixed with lentils, buckwheat pancakes, fried skin of cow, cooked Taro corms/tuber, red chilli powder ezay with dough of maize flour, served with Ara, Bang Chang, Sing Chang and locally produced Pear Wine.
