Seven bowl water offering is originated from Nepal Kapilavastu the birth palace of Buddha and spread to India, then to Tibet and gradually to Bhutan.

1. Argham- water for drinking
Pure and clean water is offered to Buddha for drinking and it represents homage and prostration.

2. Padhyam- water for bathing
Pure and clean water scented with sandal wood and other sweet scents offered for bathing the Buddha. It symbolizes purification of our negative karma and obscuration.

3. Pushpe- flower offering
Various types of flowers in the entire universe is offered to Buddha and it symbolizes the beauty and opening of one's heart.

4. Dhupe- Incense offering
Incense makes an offering of beautiful smell to the Buddha that symbolizes Morality, ethics and discipline.

5. Aloke- butter lamp offering
All the light that includes sun, moon, star, lamps, candles and all of these lights symbolizes the dispelling of all darkness of the mind, ignorant. Represent the request to Buddha to always offer dharma teaching.

6. Gendhe- offering of perfume
Offering of beautiful fragrance or perfume that one can smell or put on the body. It symbolizes perseverance and joyful effort.

7. Nevidhya- offering of food
Offering of delicious food of all kinds to three Jewels. It symbolizes the clear and stable mind of meditative absorption and represent dedication of all merits for the benefits for all sentient beings.

Shabta- Music offering
Offering of beautiful sounds of musical instruments such as cymbals, bells, lutes, and string instruments. Sound symbolizes the Buddha wisdom and compassion mind.
Seven bowls of offering can be seen in each and every household, monastery and temples and dzong. It's said that water is the simple thing that we can make an offering to Buddha as he is the source of life. So with full dedication and devotion people make an offering each and every morning to the Buddha.

All suffering comes from the wish for your own happiness. Perfect Buddha's are born from the thought to help others. Therefore, exchange your own happiness for the suffering of others. These is the practice of Bodhisattva.

1. In life there's suffering.

2. The cause of suffering is desire.

4. To end desire follow the eight-fold path.

It's a chanting of powerful mantras of god of compassion Avalokiteshivara, that will free us from the Samsaric suffering. These mantra can be explained through six part that represents and symbolizes different benefits.
1. OM- Help to achieve the perfection in the practice of generosity.
Purify the pride of God.
2. MA- Help to protect the practice of pure ethics and conduct ( Discipline).
Purify the lust of demi God.
3. NI - Help to achieve the perfection in the practice of tolerance and patience.
Purify the desire for human realm.
4. PAD- Help to achieve the perfection of perseverance.
Purify the ignorant of animal realm.
5. MA- Help to achieve the perfection in the practice of concentration.
Purify the greed of hungry gost.
6. HUM- Help to achieve the perfection in the practice of wisdom.
Purify the hatred of hell realm.
These six syllables of mantra can be seen in many different form like some in the form of prayer flags and curved on the stone and can be found in the monasteries, temples and Dzongs.

Stupa is earliest form of the Buddha image to commemorate the major event in his life. To mark the secret places where these events occurred. Stupa contains mainly of relics and offerings.
1. Heap of lotus- Pelpung
Stupa was built mainly to mark the birth of lord Buddha by his father Shuddhodana.
2. Stupa of conquest- Draduel
This Stupa was built by king Bimbisara mainly to defeat the temptation of attack of host Mara under the Bodhi tree.
3. Stupa of many doors- Gomang
Buddha's five disciples have built this stupa to mark the first Buddha's teaching at Deer Park.
4. Stupa of great miracle- Chomtruel
Stupa was built by the tribal people of Lichavi mainly to Buddha's inconceivable miracle to overpower Mara at Sharvasti.
5. Descend from God's realm- Lhabab
People of Sharvasti built this stupa to mark the descend of Buddha from heaven Tush*ta to Sharvasti.
6. Reconciliation Stupa- Yendum
People of Magadha built this stupa to mark the reconciliation of the disputing faction within sanga by his cousin Devadatta.
7. Victory stupa- Namgyel
Celestial being built this stupa to mark the prolongation of Buddha's life by three months.
8. Stupa of Nirvana-Yangde
Mala tribe of Kushinagara built this stupa to mark the final Parinirvana of Buddha at Kushinagara.

BHUTANESE DRESS
Bhutanese traditional dress is very unique and peculiar. As a traditional dress, Men wear the Gho up to knee level length and rope which is called Kera is tied at the waist. Along with the gho, they wear white like jacket which is called Laghen and it's folded with the gho above two hands. Inside the Gho, which is said to be the biggest pocket in the world, as it fits and easily carry wallets, mobile phone, so on and so forth. It's norm that everyone have to wear the long white scarf which is known as Kabney whenever we visit to administrative centres.
Women wear a long ankle length dress which is called as Kira. They aslo wear thin jacket from inside which is called wonju and also wear thick jacket from outside which is called Tego. Same like men women aslo need to wear long flowering pattern of scarf with Kira which is called Rachu. Uniqueness of Bhutanese traditional dress shows the country's identity and sovereignty of the nation.
