I have been very fortunate to have spent the past 40 years of my life, traveling around the globe to exotic and adventurous locations! I have traveled on thousands of flights and been around the world so many times I have lost count! My love of travel is driven by my keen interest to find the kindness and beauty that exists in human relations. Due to my intense travel and life activities, I seldom have time to write reviews, but today I am making an exception to let fellow travelers know about a really wonderful and unique travel company in Bhutan. It is named “Bhutan Travel Guru”, and it is run by the most amazing gentleman named Mr. Tsheten Chophel. I had been to Bhutan many years ago, and was planning to visit again, but this time with an even more ambitious itinerary. Due to Covid, I needed to cancel my plans in 2023 and rescheduled my trip to 2024. But again, Fate and my elderly mother forced me to again cancel my travel plans. On both occasions, Mr. Chophel went far above industry service standards to accommodate my personal constraints and to negotiate and arrange refunds for hotels and airline tickets. I felt as though I was working with a family member rather than the successful owner of a world class travel company!! I have traveled my entire life searching for unique experiences, and through Bhutan Travel Guru, I have found one of the most memorable human experiences possible. Mr. Chophel’s kindness and caring toward my personal situation, as well as his professional and efficient approach has left me awestruck. I have worked with great professionals many times in the past, but Bhutan Travel Guru now stands out on top!! I would highly recommend any serious traveler, who is hoping for a unique and wonderful experience exploring beautiful Bhutan to reach out to Bhutan Travel Guru. Mr. Chophel will create a customized and amazing experience for you, and one that you will never forget, of this, I am sure!!

What a wonderful journey starting from the best view of Himalayas! They helped us to check in the flight with good seat. It's appreciated that the factor of altitude sickness was taken into consideration when they planned the itinerary. While popular sightseeing spots were included, we had amusing time with the nature where were few tourists.

Our tour guide, Sonam, is helpful and kind who always accommodate our requests. Besides clear introduction on each attraction, with his assistance, we experienced in wearing Kira and could take photos in different spots. He was also understanding that he made an adjustment of itinerary in accordance to our physical conditions.

Tshewang is a great driver! We always had a safe and comfortable ride. He also found many good places for photo during the trip.

Heartful thanks to Bhutan Travel Guru for arranging this trip. Hope I can visit again very soon!
