To protect tourists who are visiting Bhutan, Government will only issue VISAs to guests who booked the land tour packages through a Bhutanese licensed tour operator. Currently, Bhutan is connected to 9 cities in 6 countries (including Thailand, India and Nepal) by the National Airline of Bhutan, Drukair. Singapore will be the 7th country, starting from September 2012 (website: http://www.drukair.com.bt)
